Dear Chris,
There are few guys(platinum members)keep on down voting my messages with one vote. I don't know why this is happening.
For the past few days, mainly my posts in GIT are all down voted.

I looked at your posts and, apart from a lame joke, there was nothing that warranted blatting. But the nub is, sometimes you post something and you'll be blatted on every post in 'revenge'. It's no big deal, your rep may bounce up and down but the general trend is up, so you're respected.
That said MM's got a big one and everyone thinks he's a [redacted].

I think there are some idiot platinum members who are not able to recognize the up vote/ down vote icons.
I spent about 3 hours and moved some 20 articles/posts/tips & tricks from my personal blog to code project and all of them were down voted ; even before getting a single up vote; within 12 hours of posting it. All the articles were genuine, code was tested in my own website and in production now.
So I went ahead and removed all of my articles/posts/tips & tricks. Thats the best one can do.

First of I like it a lot.
Should be very helpful in those long threads.
But it does seem a bit buggy tho.
Can't really find a certain way to reproduce it but from time to time the hint stays in the screen although I'm reading a completely different thread.
Other times the hint is to long after switching threads.
I even had a occasion where the hint was actually displayed over the text of a message I was reading.
I think it has something to do with moving the mouse over to the menu on the left and then opening a different message.
(Speed has something to do with it to, move to the left then move to the message fast and click fast and move to the left again)
Even with the few bugs it's nice to see this implemented

Reproducible way for the bug
Open this message.
Then move to the next with the mouse wait till the hint appears.
Click the 'R' of the first reply and don't move the mouse.
The hint keeps displayed at the same length as previous and will only 'reset' itself once you'v moved your mouse over another subject.

I was going to say "well done!" for this as well.
I haven't seen any problems, but it does make it a lot easier to work out what is a response to whom.
A big "Good Job!" to the CP team for this!

I really do like the "tree hints".
Awesome stuff.
Does not seem to be working in IE8 yet though.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Working on it. It's a relatively easy fix. (Though the IE team could make it a *very* easy fix if they chose)

The Backroom is a room where I can vent, within reason, and not suffer air-strikes to my reputation. It can get raunchy, heated, and sometimes comical in there but the forum was designed to put posts that probably shouldn't even be on the site.
As everyone has already mentioned, the link for all the forums is on the left hand side but you already knew this.
