After I paste, I hit return, and it invariably screws up what I pasted, and I have to undo the tags it added for me.

Can you give me some sample text that's being messed up?
One of the key points is you should not need to hit return. In fact if you just paste and do nothing other than keep typing, the popup menu goes away immediately and the text is pasted as per your default selection - exactly like it was before I added the popup. The popup merely gives you a chance to change the type of paste.

Indeed. A Derby County message board I occasionally read has a similar problem, it stars out Scunthorpe as well as players like Dean Leacock, and Danny Shittu. I think it also censors Dick, which is my own father's name.

OK, now you whining little sobs. 
On the link do mouse click for context menu and select "Copy link".
Open up a fresh tab in your browser and insert what you copied. For all non-working links there is at most one letter replaced by a *.
So fill in the correct letter and your ready to go.
I went through all the links this way within six minutes. A select few (3-4) already had 5 hits the rest had hit count of 3 after I delivered my punch.
Get it done already!

No no no, just go to the Who's who, search for the offending word, and just work down the list. repeat for the next word. alot quicker 
the 3 favourite four letter words are all there, s**t, f**k, c**t..........

There seems to be a plethora of spammers/trolls popping up recently and posting nonsense or asking stupid questions ("Does my dress look sexy", etc). I often click the name to see if any more votes are needed to send them on their merry way, only to find that the account has already been deleted. Would it be possible to have a new icon to show that the account has been removed?
