While trying to answer this question[^], somehow my answer has been posted twice. I've been accused of being long-winded at times, but if I ever figure out how I did this double post, I'll have to keep it in mind.

We've had a couple of reports of answers getting posted twice. We do have checks in place to prevent this, but obviously not sufficiently accurate checks.
Posting answers is done via Ajax, with follow up attempts on timeouts, so it may have been that the first attempt actually worked, though was longer than the timeout, and a second attempt was launched to compensate.

Is there a way to re-encode HTML when we are editing posts in Q&A? When I am editing posts that have something like this "new List<string>()", I have to manually replace < and > with < and > so that it will not treat it as HTML tag and not create its closing tags.

Well, there mustn't be many decent articles at the moment considering all you can offer me on the front page is a measly two "Latest best picks".

What site filter do you have set on the homepage at the top right of the "latest" list?

Found the issue. An inner join instead of an EXISTS.

I saw it in an answer and used it.
Afterwards, it seems to have disappeared again.
For proof, here[^] is the answer.
I had to delete the answer because I misread the question, but that is another issue.

When you answered, were you taken to a separate page, or did you answer inline?
We do have a separate answer page which shows the quote button, but by default (and if you have javascript enabled) you see the inline answer page.

No. I did not answer inline.

This button appears when I improve the answer. I can still see it for that particular answer.

I was trying to run "sort by rating" on my stuff, but it did not seem to work.
As a matter of fact, this was not working on answers as well.

I've just run a bunch of searches on my stuff, in the lounge, by answers, ordered by rating asc and desc and it's all working for me  I tested against your account and it seems fine for you as well.
Can you send me the search page URL you are using, what you expect to see, and what you're seeing instead? (The search page URL encodes your settings, so no need to spell them out)

I chose 'Answers', 'Forums', 'Just my stuff' in the checkboxes on the left and the Sort by Option to be Rating Desc.
URL - http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx?x=0&y=0&doctypeid='encodedstuff'&justmine=true&sort=ratingdesc
I would expect my answers and forum messages to appear sorted by rating.
I don't get anything back.

I think it is a good idea to move the rep chart to the link and make the reputation history the first part we see in the reputation tab. I don't know about other people here but I personally don't use the chart...at all.
Just a thought.
[Edit] This would only apply to the owner of the profile...of course.
