I think a dedicated forum would make more sense. We can't very well jump all over someone for posting in the wrong form if they can't easily locate the correct one (and who would think about looking in GIT?).

I noticed that CP was slow to respond to postings this morning, and noticed in the bottom of Chrome; "waiting for ajax.microsoft.com"
Never thought anything of it, and just thought things were being a bit slow.
Anyway, i just went poking around the net looking at the various CDN e.g. Google / MS and noticed this on the MS site; (from here[^])
25% seems a fair bit of an improvement for a simple name change!
just an observation!
ajax.microsoft.com renamed to ajax.aspnetcdn.com
The CDN used to use the microsoft.com domain name and has been changed to use the aspnetcdn.com domain name. This change was made to increase performance because when a browser referenced the microsoft.com domain it would send any cookies from that domain across the wire with each request. By renaming to a domain name other than microsoft.com performance can be increased by as much to 25%. Note ajax.microsoft.com will continue to function but ajax.aspnetcdn.com is recommended.
Old Format: http://ajax.microsoft.com/ajax/jQuery/jquery-1.4.4.js
New Format: http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jQuery/jquery-1.4.4.js

I have posted an Alternate Tip/Trick for this Tip/Trick[^] on yesterday. But It was deleted by someone today, I don't know the reason for that & leave it now, but my suggestion is, we may notify(Manual/automatic) the author when delete the Tip/Trick so he can know the reason for the deletion.(Here I mean manual is...The person can make comment for the Tip/Trick(before the deletion) so the author can get that by mail)
Example notification message:(Automatic)
Your Tip/Trick has been deleted because it was inappropriate or something.
Example notification message:(Manual[by member using comment])
I have deleted your Tip/Trick because it's useless.

Totally agree. It's inexcusable not to be notified that your tip was deleted, and by whom. This is another example of downvoting on steroids that should be eliminated. Report this article worked for articles, it should be enough for tips, too. At least then some mature people will be making the decision.

Even odder is the alternate that is there now. It's just a duplicate of the original. It's been an odd day at CP today for sure. But you have an excellent suggestion about alternates being deleted.

There is actually a difference in the alternate that is there now and I believe it breaks the sql.

I just tried to ask a question and the text field appears to be missing.
There is a open space below the small, big and code block buttons
Preview appears to be working, it does change when adding code blocks.
Tried on other computers, all with IE6 installed.

Expect unexpected when you use IE6 now.
AFAIK, CP no longer supports/looks into issues happening in IE6.
Upgrade to IE7/8 or try Firefox.

I know that this has been brought up before but this is the first time it has happened to me that I am aware of. Takes anywhere between 30 minutes to a couple of hours to receive an e-mail notification to thread post.
I started noticing it yesterday.

I just got this almost instantly, and email from the site goes outside the site before it comes back to me, so I'd be subject to the same delays you would be from the site itself.
Have you checked your provider and your email client?

For few days I'm wondering if this is an issue with my browser or is it because codeproject had been ajaxified I'm never able to see it properly no matter how much I refresh the browser. Some days back the problem resolved but it re-appeared. Please check below screenshot:-

 Well ctrl+f5 actually did what the regular refresh button wasn't able to do. Still, I need to continue pressing ctrl+f5 all for all page requests.
Also, ctrl+f5 isn't taking me to classic view is it? Anyways, thanks a lot for the reply. This trick really worked.... 
In any case, is this a global issue or local to particular timezone because of web host  ?
