I dont know much about Java language. I learned Core java when I was in college and I always had a fear with that language

Same thing with me. I learnt Core Java before learning C and C++. I really hate that language because we had to compile it in Console as there was no IDE compatibility at that time. It was very difficult to check where the error is. I liked the cool interface of VS and loved the coding and developer friendliness of the code. Jumped here and still going on... Will never ever look into Java again.

Yes you are right. Now there are many tools in Java to debug the code but they also have some limitations. Yes I feel that working on .net is more easy than vc++. Is it ??

Mostly used Eclipse and NetBeans. Still remember that NetBeans is better because it integrated with Maven.

Why doesn't "Other" have a text entry?
How can we be expected to respond to a survey when we can't answer CListCtrl or Bacon?

Visual J#, in my opinion, is a great development tool, also if it has been declared deprecated by Microsoft.
At school, we use net beans, but i think (no, i'm not a devil) that VJ# is a lot better, especially for the users that conventionally use Visual C++ (or the older Visual Studio 2005 suite) to develop other kind of applications.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has decided to stop the VJ# environment develop.

I would use Eclipse. For the little bit of Blackberry development I have done Eclipse was the best choice.

The last useful Java tool I tried was JCreator and even that was built with C++.
Anyway, I think I'll try some Android development soon - probably with Eclipse + Vrapper[^].

JCreator was really cool. The fact that was implemented in C++ helped a lot, it was blazing fast and very familiar to any Visual C++ 6.0 developer.
Sadly Xinox Software doesn't have a CCreator for C++.

CP been mostly1 MS centric development site, I am betting the overwhelming response to be just that.
1 I know there are a number of non-MS forums, articles and contents in CP.
