The Member Reputation System page says that there is a limit on the number of times an event can occur, but it doesn't seem to be working:
This guy[^] joined today, and out of three messages has achieved -89 debator points.
Apart from being quite a "good" start to his time here, the MRS page says that message downvote only carries a 2 point penalty, and can only occur 25 times a day. -2 * 25 = -50, according to my abacus!

I do believe there is a voting algorithm that is used - this is based on weightage / vote membership type of calculation.
See how ratings are calculated here[^].

If the like of I or POH down vote him it is -10 or -16 or so.
Our weighting is heavier.
Similarly, If I up vote you, you would get about 40 points.

Yes. That is correct.
One of the problems with showing the last few votes (reputation points) is that it actually kind of gives you an idea who upvoted or downvoted you.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

I think this use to be the case, but now it is more like 10 or 20. As a test can you vote this message 5 (in the interests of fairness change it to a 3 once I have confirmed the value of your upvote.)

Hi,
Today I deleted an answer I made in the Q&A section and then changed my mind, but I couldn't find a way to undelete my answer. The answer is still visible to me, with status 'deleted', so it's obviously not truly gone.
I'm relatively new to CP so perhaps the functionality already exists, but I couldn't find it; would it be possible to have a way to undelete answers (with a restriction they weren't deleted by a moderator)?

I can fix that too.
