Hi,
i am trying to implement cache managing using Microsft enterprise library.
I want to fetch the physical path of my file saved in cache.
i tried with reflection like this
Stream dcmStream = (IsolatedStorageFileStream)cache["key"];
string fullPath = dcmStream.GetType().GetField("m_FullPath",
BindingFlags.NonPublic | BindingFlags.Instance).GetValue(dcmStream).ToString();
It is not working. Could you help me?

Why are you caching a stream rather than the file itself? Why do you need the physical path of something in Isolated Storage? Sounds like you are using the wrong tools for what you are trying to accomplish.

I have a User Control and i added it to my Tool Box.When you add this control to your form, user control shows a form with 1 button.
I want to click the button and one Text Box be added on the Main Form(Form1).
How can get the form in that time(from my User Control)??

I create a UserControl .OK!.
In Load event i write this:

You can find demo's both on this site and Google. I'd suggest using a WebBrowser component, since that would simplify cookie-handling.

There must be a smarter way to do this! This is about if I can bind a simple datastructure to a table.
Problem: I want to hold an instance of a (simple) datastructure - say a List<t> or a Collection or similar - I don't care - representing the contents of a view or table - say view. How to impl. that the most natural/generic way?
My solution:

This approch works - "all is fine" and list is fine! Or is it? I feel that I miss some binding michanism-thingy like (pseudo):

So in other words: Do I have to iterate the DataTable myself (dealing with dr.ItemArray[] typed object) or can I bind it to a datastructure in some way?

You can do something like this instead of looping throught the dataset/SqlDataAdapter. First you can create a class that inherits DataContext. And then you can use methods of DataContext like to ExecuteQuery<> to convert your results in to objects. With this method you can directly use your queries you wrote earlier.
Consider the following example. First you need to define a class for interacting with your database
public class DBManagerDataContext : DataContext
{
private static string connectionString = "";
public static DBManagerDataContext CreateInstance()
{
return new DBManagerDataContext(connectionString);
}
protected DBManagerDataContext(string connectionString)
: base(connectionString, new AttributeMappingSource())
{
}
}
Then you can use this context to execute queries and convert them in to objects as shown below:

{
public int ReportID;
public string ReportTitle;
public DateTime ReportDate;
private static string query = "select ReportID, ReportTitle, ReportDate from dbo.Reports";
public static List<Report> GetReportList()

DBManagerDataContext context = DBManagerDataContext.CreateInstance();
return context.ExecuteQuery<Report>(query).ToList();

}
You can use the method "GetReportList()" given above like this for example:
List<Report> reports = Report.GetReportList();
Please note that the query column names should match the definition in the object
This is just an example. You could do something like this, that would serve your purpose.

I have a program developed in C#. The form's WindowState property is set to Maximized, but when i change the resolution than the window doesn't fits on the screen.
Any ideas, what to do so that whatever the resolution is windows adjusts accordingly

Oh boy!
You will have to work on that. It's not a trivial problem, the best advice I can give is to suggest you start here: MSDN Automatic scaling in Windows Forms[^]
You may find that by using Panels and following the article you may be able to do it. But it would be better to re-design your app so you don't have a single, really busy, form...

Or to use WPF - defining xaml's without any width/height information is just SO possible in WPF, making all windows fit to any screen or device.

Go to the computer-store and look at the screens. They come with different height/width ratios, which means that a perfect circle on screen 1 might look like an ellipse on screen 2. The resolutions only scale well if the aspect-ratio remains equal. The VS drag&drop IDE is not a WYSIWYG-editor.
You could design different form-layouts to fit each, but that would amount to a lot of work.
The best idea is to have controls that can grow/shrink to fill up any extra space. A label would not adjust anything, a datagridview would fill up the form.

You solution may be easier than you think. If you are referring to form elements like text boxes, buttons, etc... then you should experiment with the Anchor properties of those controls.

hey guys..i want to open a new form inside my MainForm when i click datagridview cells.. to do that i wrote these

but when i wrote this my Up-Down buttons dont work on the datagridview and when i delete thse block and try it they work
my KeyDown even is like that
