populating dropdown on selectedIndexchange event of another dropdown within listview control

Hi,

I have two dropdownlist controls within Listview control.I need to populate the second dropdownlist on SelectedIndexchange event of the first dropdownlist.

protected void Drp_Division_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
DropDownList ddl = (DropDownList)sender;
DivisionID = Convert.ToInt32(ddl.SelectedValue);
}

within this event, how could i identify the second dropdownlist.

Hi i am using calender extender inside gridview in my website, which basically shows only mo,tu,we,thu instead of showing whole 7 days a week, can any one help me in this, in all other place expect grid vew the calender extender is working fine.

Sounds to me the calendar extender is being clipped. Check for your gridview sizes.

Next time show us the relevant code so it is more clear

Hi all,

I have one question very very easy but what I don't know do.
With vb 6 when I want create a group checkbox only I have that copy and paste the same checkbox into panel and vb 6 create the group.
Well, with vb.net and asp.net (v.studio 2008) if I copy and paste the name ID is diferent and is not posible create a group with properties.
Also I have tried select 2 or 3 checkbox with key "control + click" but nothing is not posible.
Later I have tried to put into code the name of group and I don't see errors but I don't know how call later to group, I put you my simple code that I want to do:

Well VB6 and asp.net are different. Of course you can use vb.net as code behind.

.NET does not directly support control arrays. See here[^] and here[^]

You could use the CheckBoxList[^] control instead.

but is not possible call to matrix of checkbox easily, I don't want do it dinamically.
why checkbox accept by code add property "group=" and later is not posible use it?
I only want put visible or not visible "some" checkbox with a For next.
I would like to have a easy sample about it.

It's a commercial package, so you either have to buy it or fully code it yourself. They have no API available it seems which you can hook in to. Else you have to built it yourself and hook into the API's from these social sites yourselves and write interfaces for them. Most likely you can find several examples for those here on codeproject (and other websites).

I need some values to insert and get in HashTable globally in my web application.I make a class an declare it public but when i get the value from hashtable in another page it shows no value.How I access a hash table globally in my application.Pls suggest.

The web is stateless. You'll need to persist the populated HashTable between postbacks. Depending on your needs, be they per user or genuinely per web application instance. Look into using the Web Application Cache, the current Session, and the ViewState for the page.

Hello,

I need some advices please.

I'm trying to build a website for real estate listing. now the data would look like a datagrid. and while clicking on a row, it should open under it the dynamic data related to the specific row. (like an AJAX accordion).

I will try to explain myself in a better way. this website for example ( ignore the language, couldnt find any better example LOL)

Now, i've been told that this works by using "Dynamic Div Creation" which i have no idea how it should work this way. Is it possible to make it work by using an Accordion inside a datagrid? or what?!!

If anybody can advice me or give me a sample code of doing such a thing i would be REALLY grateful.
