I was posting a reply, and noticed that the advert on the top right of the page hadn't loaded. When I opened the image in a new window, I got a 404.

The image was located here, and the advert pointed here

My Quick Answer Section In CP gives me "Sorry, no entries were found matching tags ASP.NET".

Have you checked your settings?
There is a content filter tab where you can set filter both for showing and hiding.

Maybe there is a filter for ASP.NET in the ignore box.

Yeah there has been some weirdness with that.
Also there is a save settings button at the QA now, I'm guessing that saves the current set filters to your settings so something might have gone wrong there or you pressed it by mistake or ...
I'm sure once Chris is making his rounds he'll give you a much more technical and better explanation.

I have no problem with people voting however they like, high or low and all these votes[^] on QA may be justified, but is a self appointed QA policeman getting a bit obsessive?

I looked in his comments section and found one 5 before I got bored - praising another member for slating a question!

There is a need for low voting, but it must be a qualified and just reason.

It appeared he was voting low for very marginal reasons.

I try not to downvote where I can offer a comment as to ways of improving the question.
(Unless it is a dumb question that has been repeated or somesuch event).

I often edit questions that are in a poorly phrased or badly spelled way.
(Some people do not have English as a first language and so, far from criticising, I 'improve' the question)

I always say why I edited, for spelling or syntax or grammar etc, but do not downvote for poor English.

This fellow does, and I think that is not a viable reason.

He's entitled to his opinion, and he is providing opinions, not just spam or targeted down voting.

Maybe he could be more tolerant, but I also know that others truly wish that many question posters would think a little more as well.

OMG!!! It's a consistent 1 vote with the reason "fake answer" in most of the cases. Somewhere he used the term "nonsense" too. Don't he have any work than discouraging others voting down?
