Hello friends,
I have a major problem, so please help me.
i have created a web application in asp.net with c# in 2005.
now i want to create my application in more than one language.
and i want to change language with the help of the language files (e.g XML files or database).
so anybody have the idea that how i can achieve my goal, if you have any demo project then please send me on my mail-id (ajeet.gimt@gmail.com).
so Anybody can help me , i will be very thankful to him .

Hi all
Whenever I change text in a textbox i need to differentiate between two methods of doing this
1. Enter text
2. select a value from list of previously saved values and press Enter key. One thing to note here is that TextChanged event is not fired when a value from the previously saved values is selected if we are using IE.
Any help in this regards ?

Are you looking for AutoComplete Textbox control? Its there with asp.net ajax control.
Pls be sure to make AutoPostback property to false if you don't wish to post back on every text change.
please let us know if you are looking for something else.

Hi
No I don't need an ajax control.
Actually I have implemented a textchange event for a textbox and it is fired whenever text is changed by: 1. entering text and hitting Enter
2. entering text and then clicking somewhere else on the form
But I need to differentiate between these two scenarios.
for (1) I have to fire a button's click event and for (2) Enable a button.

These are two separate events. Pressing the Enter key is handled by the KeyXXX (KeyDown, KeyUp, KeyPress) events. Clicking elsewhere on the form is handled by the LostFocus event, or OnBlur in JavaScript.

Well, this doesn't sound logical!
I have it and it works all fine. Try again with a WebForm in view.
BTW, is it that only Ajaxtoolkit controls are not draggable or any control?

Hi..
Didn't find correct Forum so writting in asp.net messageboard. as I am using this website frequently and used to it.
I have one html document with some inputboxes and a submit button.
On clicking the submit button, the data of all inputboxes should be emailed to an email ID.
I am trying to use VBscript for this functionality. as under
Set objMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message")
objMessage.Subject = "Subject"
objMessage.Sender = "administrator@savilltech.com"
objMessage.To = "thaker_hemant@yahoo.co.in"
objMessage.TextBody = "Your identity is compromised."
objMessage.Send
but getting some error...
activex can generate object CDO or something
My website is online and I will be putting this html page to the same.

ActiveX has nothing to do with CDO. ActiveX is client side technology, where as CDO is server side.

Hi,
We have a website that has been live for several years. It uses a custom config file loaded via the following in the web.config:

I particularly liked the fact that changes in the custom config file could be made - with the changed values loaded straight away by the runtime - without having to restart the site and effectively end any users sessions. However the developers of another software package used by this client recently installed the .Net Framework v3.5 on the server. Since then changes in the custom config file simply aren't loaded at all, ever. To work around this we have had to set the restartOnExternalChanges value to true in the web.config. However this means that anyone on the site has there session ended when any of the values are updated. I have googled to see if I could find any information on this but have drawn a blank. Any ideas much appreciated.

I am using Expression Blend3 and i have added a ribbon control.I donot want to use AuxiliaryPaneContent in RibbonApplicationMenu so i want to hide it. I cannot find any property/option to hide it
Any one have any Idea?????

Nope. You can't. But you can change the style to hide it. AFAIK, hiding that Pane violates the Microsoft Office UI License of Ribbon Control.
