Not really. I prefer most browsers over IE, and use FF3.0 most of all. I only use IE(7) for compatibility tests when I'm experimenting with some of my web pages, CSS and JavaScript tricks.
Have you considered using FF4.0? the beta is out, haven't installed it yet.

Any add-ins installed? GreaseMonkey? Javascript enabled/disabled? ad blockers?

I have sent you a source listing of The Lounge but as a bit of additional info:
I have tried with all add-ons disabled - same results.
Things like Profile, Rep Graph etc seem to work OK except that the messages section on Profile is totally absent.

When we view an article and hover over the rating "bar", we get a nice graph showing the distribution of the votes.
Could we have this functionality in Tips/Tricks as well - pretty please?

I know something like this is on the list but IMO it needs the priority raising.
As you know it's very common for members inexperienced in the ways of QA to post an answer to give more information/to respond to a comment. What's worrying is that these valid (if misplaced) responses now seem to be constantly downvoted with reasons such as 'fake answer' etc.
Do we really want to discourage feedback/more info from the OP? I understand the downvote and it is valid as well, but it seems we are 'punishing' and discouraging participation because maybe the system isn't as intuitive as it should be and the people voting don't have the correct tools to deal with it.
A 'Convert Answer to Comment' button available maybe to members that already have delete permissions that also fires an email to the 'Answerer' explaining what has happened and more importantly why, would be a good solution.

Is there anyt way to make the dorp downs have at least a 1 sec 'stickyness' so if yi you don't accidently go off the boundries it dissapears, can be very fusrating....

I'll add a task to delay them a little.
They are CSS driven, not javascript driven, and unfortunately CSS doesn't have a :hover(after 2 seconds) meta selector.

Today I'm working on a laptop with 1366 x 768 max resolution. The drop down menus are longer than this display allows vertically so I can't reach some parts of it (queue the Heineken jokes). To reach this page I had to go to one of the forums and use the menubar on the left as it's just too low in the menu to be got at.
Any chance of vertical scrolling being added? (IE8/W7 if it makes any difference)

Adding to it, in my 14.1 inch laptop (normal resolution), it's really difficult to access links at the bottom of Question & Answer dropdown. Specially 'Sites Bugs/Suggestion' and 'Other languages' section.

I have tried CTRL+F5 several times and also clearing the browser cache.
#1) There appears to be a very persistent filter when i enter Q&A's e.g. from the menu click 'View Unanswered Questions' appears to always put a 'VB.Net' filter in the filter box. Even after i clear this filter and click search again to display all the unanswered, if i go back at a later time the filter is back.
#2) If i clear the filter and display the full list, and then click on a question that is tagged e.g. c#, the filter is repopulated with 'VB.net'
#3) If i clear the filter (while in a question), and press enter, it tries to vote, but fails and generates an error message, 'There was an error trying to rate this item. Please try again later'
EDIT:
#4) I have also noticed that this also carries through to the Articles Tag Filter

I am not sure if this has been reported before, but just in case.
I was just replying to a post in The Lounge, in Hieroglyphics, but one slipped through.
The system caught the first c**k and the second but allowed the third one through.
The offending phrase:-
c**k bullock canoe c**k c**k cat ibis
So now I am confused, is it the length or the quantity that is causing the problem?
