i have purchsed a domain name from www.whiz.in and i want to link it with my blog at blogspot.com.
please guide me step by step as i am very new to such things. thanks for your help, highly obliged.

You could request the domain provider to modify the DNS settings to forward to your blogs address.

Well, if the provider has it on their site, go read the manual....
We don't know who your provider is, we don't know your passwords, we don't know your blogs address.
If you go through life expecting everything done for you, you wont get very far will you.

Everything is done from your domain providers control panel.
All you need to do is look for something relating to DNS
There will be an option for Forwarding and all you need to do is put your full address for your blog in there.

What is to say that you give me your password and I redirect your domain to some dodgy porn website and then change the passwords to lock you out from your account and then start using your domain to send millions of spam messages and host malware?
A bit too trusting are you not?
If your provider has any sort of decent site/support, then it should be laid out in an easy to follow FAQ.
Who is your provider? what is their web address?

I have a simple test web application with a single Default.aspx page with 2 buttons having the following handlers:
What surprises me is I expected to get the same session ID between successive clicks of either buttons but I get different session ID's each time. I expected this to be different clicking from 2 different iexplorer instances and more so between an iexplorer and chrome / firefox.
Also, from this experiment, it is obvious that HttpContext.Current.Cache is shared among clients as I get the values inserted from prior requests from different browsers.

Session ID will be different for different browsers, why did you expect to see the same?
Session is recognized by user's cookies.
HttpContext.Current.Cache is shared across application domain (MSDN[^]). If your IIS is configured to run as web farm (it can use not one process to serve requests) - cache object will be different for each process. In any other case it is the same.

No I didn't expect the Session ID to be the same for different browser programs. In fact I only expected the Session ID to be the same on the same browser instance (not even for the same browser program but different instances) between each postback but it's not. I half-expected the Session ID to be the same though in the same browser instance from different tabs.

If you're not actually storing anything in session, the server won't bother persisting it. So you'll get a different sessionid each time.

Hello everyone!
I'm implementing a javascript function that must show a modal dialog with Yes-No-Cancel buttons and return the selected value.
I have found a workaround for IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari (using window.showModalDialog).
Does anyone know any solution for Opera? It doesn't support showModalDialog 
Or, as a variant, maybe there's any implementation of noop for Opera? (non CPU-intensive loop)
The problem is that I can't show a modal dialog in such way:
show(success: function() { ... });
My function is called from external javascript component, and this component is expecting the result in synchronous way.

showModalDialog is not part of any web standard. I would look into the way that the AJAXControlToolkit ModalPopupExtender does it by showing a div with a high z-index that covers the page and captures any events that would normally go to the items behind it.
And noop usually means "no op" i.e. no operation performed/do nothing and has nothing to do with loops.

Yeah, you are right, showModalDialog is not a part of any web standard but it's supported by all web browsers.
Furthermore, Opera tells this:
typeof(window.showModalDialog) will be "function"
But I don't understand how to use it in Opera
Using a div with high z-index will be not acceptable because it will not allow to wait while the user clicks on it. Yeah, I know how to implement everything using div-s but the problem is that my function must be called from external JS-component and return the ansewer to it. The component's code cannot be changed.
Yeah, I mean exactly non cpu-intensive no-operation, if it exists, this means that non cpu-intensive loop can be easily implemented. Please sorry me for inaccuracy.

try to use jquery. it will take just a single line of code to show a dialog box... after including its js file. if you want to do it of your own then you need to compromise all the web browsers and this will be taken care by jquery. a javascript frame work.
of if you want to do it of your own... ready about z-index and opacity...
the gimmick is display a transparent div with 100% height and 100% width with the z-index more than any existing element. for example this overlay div will have zindex as 95. then display your rectangle dialog which will contain all three buttons above the overlay div with zindex more than 95. now try to click apart from the dialog rectangle( on any hyperlinks). nothing happens. the overlay div receives the mouse clicks because it has occupied the complete screen. once you click any button in the dialog then make the overlay div to display none and hide the rectangle.
the above link is just an example. use the last one. and there are more than this in the web... so chose the one which will suite your design.

Hi All,
I've a problem that when i'm loading program of reading the excel sheet using "usedrange" property so its running well but when i integrated this code with my Google map API code so its showing an error in property of "usedrange" is that "its undefined or null or not an object".
