Why u require an event just apply validation on the controls of your page
By using two ways,
1. Using Javascript
2. Using .Net Validation Controls

There is know such event.Either you can capture browser close event from Javascript or session timeout if you are using session.

Hi all,
I've got a problem to read data into multiple columns. I only retrieve one column from a database and automatically I get one column in my gridview, but that's not what I need, I need to get the data spread over multiple columns.
For example:
-> This is what I've got at the moment:
| data1 |
| data2 |
| data3 |
| data4 |
| data5 |
| data6 |
| data7 |
-> This is what I need:
| data1 | | data2 | | data3 | | data4 | | data5 |
| data6 | | data7 |
Does anyone know how I can do this?

I think You should use Datalist for this case where you can set the RepeatColumns property and display the data.

for disabling back button
You can do this by multiple ways,

onLoad="if(history.length>0)history.go(+1)"
for disabling menubar
You can do this by using Javascript to set page to open in Full screen mode.
Place this script within HEAD tagsif (this.name!='fullscreen'){

iam using asp.net with c#;
iam having 5 textboxes
textbox1==username
textbox2=how many images on top of the page(ie enter integer value)
textbox3=how many images on bottom of the page(ie enteger integer value)
textbox4=how many images on left of the page(ie enter integer value)
textbox5=how many images on right of the page(ie enter integer value)
and a button to create
when user click on button then new page is created with username and image controls
are displayed on top,bottom,right ,left what ever he has submitted in the form and
then user can upload the images with file upload control . when he clicks any iamge
he should get the option forupload image and there should be two options previous image(the current what we have clicked)
and the new image what we have browse
how to do this can you give me example which helps me

I'm not sure if you can create a page, as in a physical .aspx file dynamically. But, it is possible to create and place controls during run-time.
You have to have a base page i.e. a blank page with the required panels [Left/right/...]. When the user clicks on the button on the user input form, get the values from the textboxes and use it to loop and create controls. You can create controls like this
[ControlType] control_LoopCounter = new [ControlType]()
Set the appropriate properties and add the control to the required panel.

Hi
I am using vs 2008 and windows 7.
after making websetup when I install using websetup it shows:
The installer was interrupted before websetup could be installed. You need to restart the installer or try again.
Please help.

This information is not enough. Please check Event Viewer for more traces of the error. There can be multiple reasons for failure of setup.

I have solved this issue by
going to Programs and Features / Turn Windows Features on or off / Internet Information Service / Web Management Tools / IIS6 Management Compatibility.
No my problem is when i install from setup it also install codefile(.aspx.cs) along with .aspx pages
also I have used asp menu in a page which is not displayed when i run from the IIS. while it got displayed when i run from visual studio.
Please help.
