I guess this guy recently had one of his articles removed. Though his article article rating correctly shows the rating of his remaining article, his article count still shows as two.

Support for multithreading has had a massive overhaul in .NET 4.0.
With the upcoming public release, I expect there will be many articles about it - here's a new one:
Introducing .NET 4.0 Parallel Programming[^]
Also, the current section in "General Programming" is getting to be a bit of a mess with C++ and C# articles mixed together.
So, please could we have a new section especially for "Concurrent Software in .NET 4.0"?

Quite often users respond to answers by adding more answers but there is no way to receive an update when this happens. Other than continuing to view the answered question to check for follow-ups there is no one to see if the user has asked for additional help.
There are also questions where I may not have an answer but would like to know when there is one.
Perhaps adding the ability to get alerted when an answer is posted to a question would be a solution.

Definitely a popular request. It's in our queue and a high priority. One aspect is to build out a general subscription mechanism. WRT Quick Answer we're currently building a commenting system that will be attached to each answer (and question). So if a user posts a "comment" to your answer you will get notified.

Hey Chris,
I'm using Expression 3 to validate the article I downloaded the codeproject.css and I am getting all kinds of validations errors. I am using your standard template for the article, but would like to see it in full color as it should appear in the article before I upload it. Is there a place where you can post the codeproject.css on the Post an Article section of the site?
Oh yeah, I was validating for CSS 2.0 and IE 8, if those are not the correct setting can you fill me in on the correct settings? This use to work fine before I upgraded to Expression 3.

Never mind had to create a new css code style then import your on top of it, looks beautiful now!

But I'm sure you have some scrubbing method that makes it work with your browsers etc... no worries...

Validation of our CSS will fail. This is deliberate because we are using hacks for IE7 and below.
Blame Microsoft.

It might be a matter of my web security settings, but the preview is NOT working for me. Very annoying, having to post an answer and use "Improve" to fix formatting and spelling errors.

Hi! When After rating quick answers I ran again into "You or someone at your IP address has been voting too often. Please wait a moment and try again". Out of curiosity what's the limit in the message boards? Can it maybe raised depending on your reputation as organiser?

I've run into this in the past. I used to try and 5 vote the good answers in the programming forums, but it wouldn't let me vote after four or five 5-votes. I think this restriction should be higher for 5-votes, like maybe up to 20 before it tells you you need to wait.

IMO such restrictions should not apply to members exceeding some reputation threshold.

I'd go for one of the color thresholds, bronze or silver.
IMO most abuse can be prevented by a bronze threshold if installed early on.

I used to report spam with the link "Vote to Remove Message", but it is not visible for me any more since I'm not a "bronze debator". I think that's a step backwards since now spam stays for weeks in my favorite forum and nobody of us mortal, occasional participants can do anything against it. Why not give this right more freely? If you want to exercise some control, you can restrict it to normal participants, and give plus points for reporters and minus points when reporting ham as spam.
