Hi all,

Sorry for the inconvenience but it seems that Google can't help me out here.
I have a Textbox in a windows form in which the property 'accepts tab' has been set to true.
When pressing the tab key it works as expected, the cursor moves forward.
However when pressing shift + tab the cursor also moves forward instead of the expected backward.
Does anyone have an idea as to why this happens?

Thx for the swift reply.
Yes I have checked the taborder, but it actually has little to do with tab order.
The behaviour that I would like to see is to be able to tab text forward and backward.
It's not about going to the next control. It's more about using the tab as indentation and then be able to increase or decrease the indentation of the selected text as well as indenting a new line in a multiline textbox.

This is how TextBox and RichTextBox are supposed to behave. You've probably noticed the alternate custom behavior in, say, Visual Studio or MS Word. To implement this, you'll have to capture SHIFT+TAB and implement it yourself.

Accepting file via CGI POST?

I have a C# CGI app that I have to modify so that it can accept file uploads from (company internal) web users. The app currently only expects 'regular' form data (ie, text name/value pairs).Can anyone point me to something that tells how to handle the file contents?

I've got the HTML form set up as a POST with 'enctype="multipart/form-data"', but I don't know how to handle the multipart form content on the server side. Currently, the app just uses 'Console.In.ReadToEnd()' to get the form contents and then splits the resulting string on '&' to get each name/value pair, and then splits those on '=' to get each name and value. Obvisouly, that doesn't work for multipart/form-data.

Any suggestions? And no, rewriting the app in ASP.NET is not an option currently. Smile | :)

Sadly this can get quite complex. There's a project here on the site that implemented something similar.
The best option is to search for MyXaml. It's an opensource XAML parser that contains code to do this.

No. I can load my assembly.

What i need is to load the values of my properties from the xml file.

I'm serializing the values of my properties, but if the property is a basic type (int, float, string...) there is no problem, the problem is when my property is the type Myclass, I can not load again my values.

Sorry, but the ploblem is not with the serialization, is loading the data.

The error always says that is not possible to load the assembly.

C#, DataGridView, Allow user to reposition columns

I have a winforms application (C# 2008 Express Edition), and I want the user to be able to drag and drop the columns to a different position in the DataGridView.

The DataGridView is unbound, and is populated with data on opening of the form, the columns are programmatically set.

I have "AllowUserToOrderColumns" set to true, but i can't reposition the columns.

Is it possible to reposition columns, and if so how do I accomplish this.

Hmm this is funny, I've made some classes with some properties, and I wanted them to be grouped into categories in the propertygrid. so ofcause I added the Category Attribute and set the value to Behavior, and wouldn't you know it, the PropertyGrid Groups it as Type ??? anyone ever seen this ??
Heres an sample class

}

Try display this in the PropertyGrid. perhaps its only my computer that makes this fault. WTF | :WTF:

Windows XP, 32 bit. I'm getting a category-heading as expected, both with .NET 3.5 as with 4.0.

Is it only reproducable on 64-bit Weven?

I think i will try different kinds of OS's and 32 & 64 bit versions to see if i can get the fault.

But still i dont know why... i have asked microsoft, but still no answer...
