well i almost solved it but now having another issue.

if (Page_ClientValidate() ==false) {

so on Page_ClientValidate('First') it always gives true. By the way First and Second are my validationgroup of ASP.NET radiolist control

Any help?

Dear All,

I had placed a Placeholder control in my .aspx page and adding button controls into it dynamically from data base based on user and assigning click event to that control but after performing the button click the controls inside the Place holder were not displaying.Plz provide the necessary.

If you are creating any dynamic control on/after Page_Load, they will not be maintain the view state. You need to create all the control before page load. As View_State and Post_Back Data, load before page load. You can create your dynamic control in Page_Preinit Event.

Essentially a disguised ad.

The site looks like it was built in 1985. Did you bother to look at any modern sites to see what they look like and try to emulate them? I could go on but best I don't. Go hire a proper web designer.

Perhaps another way of addressing this would be to have a view or stored procedure in one database that gathers the data from the other so that you don't need 2 connection strings.

this works in sql server 2005! i haven't try in 2000! Smile | :)

SQL

SELECT * FROM Employeedb.dbo.TableOfEmployeedbDB INNER JOIN 
Companydb.dbo.TableOfCompanydbDB ON 
Employeedb.dbo.TableOfEmployeedbDB.IdField = 
Companydb.dbo.TableOfCompanydbDB.IdField

You can access the dababase tables! even from another databases!
you only have to say to sql server where are you getting the data.
It's that why you need to specify the db in every Table sentence Wink | ;)
