hi,
I have created a dll and im using it in my web application.. ther is some errors in my dll i hope.. i have a breakpoint in my web application when a function of my dll is called i want to step into my dll code, but im not able to step into my dll.. plz advice me.. The version of my dll is debug mode.. how to check whether my debugger loads the .pdb file of my dll.. because im sure that .pdb file of my dll is required to step into my dll code.. But i tried getting thro Debug->Windows->Modules and im able 2 c my dll with the msg symbols loaded...
Im not able to step into my dll to debug it...

U have to try coding.. Hope u know the term "CODING".. After u code and incase you get any exception come back there are lots of ppl out here 2 help u... Until and unless u post ur Exceptions or codes u wil never get help..

i hav 2 grids when i select n move gv1's record to gv2 selected row is moved thru btn, bt the problem is that when i want to move another selectedrow from gv1 to gv2 the previous moved record is removed n new selected row is appeared.

Now ,the requirement is that write grid's selected index on client-side in javascript. how it is done, i hav no idea about it.

| Use some hidden variable to store the selected index,it'll persist acreoss postback.and if there is no postback then you can use a global variable in javascript. Cheers!!

Hi
I m using Login Control.
Now When I use Administrator login it goes to default.aspx page and I am showing all links of the form. When I click on perticular link(Client.aspx) of the form it showing form details. Now I logout and login with different user. Instead of going to default.aspx page it showing previous page(Client.aspx) as administrator login & open that link.
In the browsers address bar it showing that link of that page. that means my browser not clearing the even if I already written code to go to default page.
How can I clear it?

Hi,
Use n-tire architecture.
First you have to create Data Access Layer(DAL), in this layer you keep your data separately.
In Business Layer Access, you should keep your business logic like as defination of methods, declarations of variables etc. you can also declare properties.
After this you will create User Interface/Presentation Logic. In this layer you create your user interface(forms) and connect with BAL using objects.Farogh Haider

Hi guyz..
I was wondering if its possible to run 2 or more dot net web application at a time. If its possible how can we achieve it... bcoz as of now when an web application is running im not able to execute another application if i try to do so i get an alert box displaying --> another application is already running, not possible to debug.. blah.. blah.. blah..(dont remeber the exact msg)...

I assume you mean to debug more than one website at a time. As far as I know the ASP.NET debugger can be associated with only one website at a time. I've not tried across versions, but trying to debug say 2 websites running on VS 2005 won't work. May be try debugging one with VS 2005 and other one on VS 2008.
