While we are at it - how about a 'bow in respect' icon - it can be used whenever a good answer to a problem is suggested.
Something like what they have on Skype.

[The QA section does it automatically now, I hope we soon get it on regular forums as well]

Hey Chris,

The new style seems to be less readable than the old one. For one, it's smaller (not that big a deal), but the change from black to green makes the text less readable, specially for edited articles. Unedited articles have a bluish gray background that makes the green stand out, but the yellowish background edited articles have doesn't make the current shade of green an ideal foreground color. I may get used to it after a while but right now it does look a little odd.

Seems other styles were changed, such as the color of "Welcome to the Lounge"... was that intentional? I think I liked the green more.

I'm getting a completely wrong layout on the forums (the left forum list is expanded all over the page and the forum itself is underneath it)

Seems to happen only on web15 (but did have it on web22 as well but that seems to be ok now)

[Update] pressing 'post message' just fixed the layout but didn't actully post the message (I think) [\Update]

[Edit]Web18 / web19 seem to be suffering from it as well now [\edit]

Ctrl-F5 doesn't fix it. Picture this:

It looks like the tab contents are being displayed to the right of the tabs themselves, and is overlaying the search/drilldown/announcement pane.

I'm seeing this is in "My Posts" by the way...

This is not happening in IE8

Hi, I am not sure if this is an issue or if already known but...

in the Quick Answers, I have posted an answer and afterwards realize the OP had already solved it (added new answer instead of editing question). So I want to delete my answer, but... no "delete" link there.

I can see the deletes for the other posts, but not in my own.

My answer has no posterior answers and/or votes yet.

This[^] is the Question, and here[^] is a capture of what I see.

EDIT: Forgot to say: Win XP, SP2, ie7 (don't know if that helps)

But you know what, I think we should revisit whether this rule is appropriate. I see many cases - such as this - where it isn't. I'll talk it over with the team.

IMO it is not a bad idea, but in the case where you own all message and edits... would not be bad to be able to delete.

Exactly.

The original intent was to prevent members from deleting good content. I figured that if there's a non-minor edit than it may be content worth keeping around. Turns out that that's not the case. And even if you don't own all the edits. Anyway we do have the voting rule in place. If a post has a score of 3 or higher it can't be deleted. That should suffice.
