use javascript

document.getElementById('panel').style.display = 'none'

First you have to have the clientid of the panel in JS.Sample code

<script type="text/javascript"><br />
var panelClientID="<%=panelId.ClientID%>"<br />
function HidePanel()<br />
{<br />
    document.getElementById(panelClientID).style.display='none';<br />
}<br />
</script><br />

Now put this code in your page and just change

panelId

to your

PanelId

and call the HidePanel() mathod from where you want.
Similarly you can do from other server side controls. Smile | :)

It worked fine! Thanks.

I tried to use 'display' as a value in place of 'none' to see if i could display the hidden panel but it returned error.

Please help me out.

Menu control in asp.net slow down on mouse hover when loading large data.This problem occurs in IE 7.0.

But this problem resolve little bit by adding

in the master page.But it changes the font of all pages.

Can anyone comes across this type of problem?
or
How to increase the performance of the mouse hover on menu control in IE7.0

I think one thing you can do is store your menu data in cach that means you cash your data

i tried this and its working for me.

I tried ur solution but it is not affecting on menu control performance.
i think it is not problem of data store.Beacause it is working fine in IE 6.0,problem is in Ie 7.0.
So do u have any another solution? please reply

One way,You catch the event of link button in ItemCommand,update the datasource according to you need and then bind it again.
Use AJAX so that your whole wont refresh.

Actually a website runs all the time. It doesnt restarts.

So you need to calculate Yesterday visitor/ today Visitor manually by checking the DateTime

Also Online visitor can be calculated by fixing a timeout and check all the last requests made during this timeout value.

Create Procedure to Add Hit

Now on Session Start Call This Procedure now in database u have datewise count now u can use it to display number of hit for any day

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
