I have same problem. The last I received was on 31st Dec 2009. I also check my settings and save em again. I even sent them a twit but it seems CodeProject does know much about twitting.

We need a notification for the messages posted if someone replies to one of my posts I get a notification, just like FB.

That already exists. When you post a message, select "Send me an e-mail if someone replies to this message". Pretty sure there is a setting to turn that on by default. Make sure your email is setup correctly and that CodeProject emails aren't getting sent to your spam folder.

I don't want an email I want a notification here on the site. I can't afford every time to go and check my email that will be a havy load on my connection.

Don't know if I'd want that funky AJAX notifier they have on Facebook at the bottom of the page. That thing is always buggy. Although having a number in parens next to your login at the top of the page would be neat. Then, when you click it, you get a link on your profile page to see recent responses. I'd second a vote for that.

We can certainly implement some type of notification. The trick is: what are we notifying you about?
If it is a number of messages posted in reply to messages you post then the best we could do is show you the number of messages that were posted since you last logged in, and provide a link to those messages. Due to the way the forums are done there's not really a concept of having a message "read" since we load up to 50 messages on a single page each page view.
For Quick Answers we have more leeway, though, so we could specifically list those that you have not read.
How's this sound?

I'd say just list all responses (to messages, quick answer answers, and articles) on the same page. Perhaps make it a paged control that shows 50 per page, starting with the most recent 50. Might also have an unread view. You could just make each message type (forum reply, quick answer, article post) have a different style to be able to quickly visually identify them.
As far as showing the number of unread responses, you could just mark a message unread when it gets clicked via email or via the list of recent responses. Perhaps clicking the message to expand it would also mark it as read (or you could have a "mark as read" checkbox at the bottom of each message or next to each item on the recent responses list).
Or to simplify things, you could just show the number of responses that have been added since the user last looked at the recent responses page.
Or maybe just show the number of items that have been added in the last 24 hours.
You could also combine some of those ideas. Perhaps show the number of items that were added in the last 24 hours, and make it bold/red if the user has not visited the recent responses since the last item was added. And you could make that 24 hours user configurable, so they could change it to 1 week, for example. Or maybe you set it to twice the average period between each visit to the website for that user (although that would be problematic since some users don't always log in when they visit). I'd personally just make it a setting. You could also set the threshhold for number of messages required before the number gets red/bold. For example, maybe a user only wants to be notified when 3 or more responses have been added (to read them in batches rather than each time one appears).
As always, those are just some ideas. Take from them what you will or won't.

Put the actual value on the graph somewhere. It's impossible to tell what your reputation value is by just looking at the graph.
It would also be nice to have all the new demographics on the profile page (authority, editor, reputation, blah blah).

We're steadily improving the graph. We're using Dundas Chart which has some very funky bits we can use so we'll see if we can make the thing sing.

Hi,
When I click on a message at the bottom of an article using Google Chrome, the page scrolls up and I have to scroll back down to see the open comment. For example in this[^] article, click on the first message in the discussion area. Note that the page scrolls up about 2 pages. noise tolerance is "very low", layout is normal and per page is 50.
Actually, just tried it on this very message and the same thing happens.

I thought this was the Chrome-specific issue where it has trouble with anchors when it displays pages that were not visible when originally rendered, but your link to an example of this problem (I used the "new window" alternative, which displays as a new current tab) shows that this is not the issue.
I think I've had pages where the problem goes away after a refresh or a move to subsequent comment pages.
BTW It is NOT happening for me on this "very" message, and Clearly there are other comments that work fine -- I'd say this problem occurs about 10% of the time.
After submitting this comment I found it is happening for this message, just not as bad: only about half a page out -- not enough to stop reading the comment exposed.
