i think the Normal Calender control does that , you don't need to write code for this. Mybe you dont explain clearly what is your problem ?

Why do you require to backup the access database ?
Just copy a blank database file to a specified folder, copy the data from the original access database to the other using normal OleDb commands ....
Now allow the user to download the file...

i have a showmodaldialog and after getting value from B page the value is stored in textbox now everything is ok but save button wont take new value and returns the old one,

First of all, you should make sure Acrobat plugin is installed in your browser.
You would have to use correct Content Type :
Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";
Response.AddHeader("content-length",contentBytes.Length.ToString());
Response.BinaryWrite(contentBytes);
If you just need to open it in the browser totally, you can also use
Respose.Redirect("yourpdffile.pdf") which will automatically take the content type.
