Hi,
We are building ASP.NET applications using VSTS (Visual Studio Team System) 2008 as IDE & C#.NET as Programming Language.
Would you please let me know whether we could test these applications using VSTS 2008? If so would you please provide the details?
Are there any other VSTS integrated tools / third-party tools which we could use for testing the web applications. The testing could be Unit/Functional/Load Testing etc.

Yes...You could test the methods and classes using Nunit Framework ...
For this ..Firstly, You have to download and install NUnit framework and then right-click on the method to be tested and select "Create Unit Tests" and use [Test] methods to test the functions or data methods and run "Nunit framework" by clicking on the "Tools" in the menu bar and select external tools where u must select "nunit.exe" and then Nunit Framework will run where the test method will be displayed and You can test that method ..It'd be green bar if the test is successful ..else red .
And For testing asp tools..You have to add reference "NunitAsp.dll" in the test class

Hi,
My target is convert office document (like doc, docx, xls, xlsx), adobe file (like psd,ai), and more files to PDF file. My hosting server in Godaddy windows shared server.
So, can you tell me is it possible? Please tell me in details.

Hi Abhijit,
My Page is Fileupload.aspx. I have uploaded one file from local systems to server. After that I want convert that particular file into PDF file. My project in ASP.Net 3.5

Did you consider using ITextSharp.. It creates PDF's on the fly.

Thanks for you comments, Yes pdf creation on the fly it's no problem in ITextSharp  .
But problem with Office related file conversion.

Yes. I was also stuck with this point. You need conversion of PDF not to create on the fly !!!

There are different option that you can use to do it. You can use HTTPWebReqest and HTTPWebResponse for that. Now how to do it, for that you need to explore google. If stuck during implementation ask over here.

I have a gridview to whom i have provided a datatable as a datasource i hve some modifications to be made in one of the rows that i select from the gridview the same modifications should be made in the datatable how do i go abt with it.

i managed it .
i took a non editable column of the grid view in the sesion and used it as unique key for modification.
traversed the datatable
foreach (DataRow datar in dtvalues.Rows)
{
if (datar[0].ToString() == Dl_NO_Hold)

datar[1] = txtFname.Text;
datar[2] = txtLName.Text;
}
}
and replaced it

When i uploded on server some malicious script tag added in my site.
I removed and uploaded again but it added again after some time.
Please suggest me to get rid of this issue.

Hi,
Have you tried a upload action in a test page?? If not, you can have a try.
I don't think any script tag will be added to your site with upload action, but if your pc got virus...anything will happen.

I have a gridview in a webpage where i use a datatable to populate the gridview,but only if the website is built and rebuilt the webpage works properly without exceptions,as the datatable does not retain any data that has been asign to it on the button click.
Following is the code,
