Hi I have 2 roles and three master pages set up
Notloggedin
userloggedin
adminloggedin
preinit working fine etc etc.
When i am logged in as a user I need to print .. My print page needs to affiliate itself with a masterpage in hte aspx file
But i do not want to print Master detail.
How do I hide it ?

Why were you beating about the bush, just say you want to hide control when printing, this might help you Hide Control[^]

Your suggestion is not what I am looking for sorry.
Printing master pages using "print" stylesheets is more what I had in mind.

In visual studio 2005 , I have installed "Web Deployment Project" addin and use it whenever I want to make a change to my website. It has got a drawback and it is that it can not perform partial compilation . Whenever I need a small change in my code It compiles all the site (including all pages) taking about 15 minutes to finish.
Is there any solution to do partial compilation ? I mean just compile page assemblies we choose .

Just add reference to the dlls of your class libraries. Dont use Project Reference.
Also make sure you dont have included all the class libraries in the same solution.
If you dont require debugging enabled for class libraries, just place it in separate folder and choose from there..
I think this will help you to fix the issue.

have you used Web deployment addin in visual studio ? It lets you make an assembly per every folder containing aspx pages . I wanna compile just one folder .

If I'm not wrong, if you make changes to any file which is under app_code folder, VS compiles the whole project.

Hi,
Please let me know how to call a function written in Code Behind file, in a different folder, from a .aspx control. Here is what I am doing:

DAL - FolderName
CommonUtil - Class
GetConfigValue - Function.
Error Message - The name DAL does not exist in current context
DAL folder is under App_Code folder. I tried appending App_Code in my src string, however I am still etting the error
Error Message - The name App_Code does not exist in current context.

Each class represents an unique Namespace. Use
<%@ Import
to import the namespace and then use it in server tags.
You dont have to look for folders, its the namespace that matters.

I have a gridview with LinkButton(Template Field) inside an updatepanel I want to set PostBack Trigger to this LinkButton Click event(Not for the entire GridView  ). Is this possible?

Yes it is. Place only the LinkButton inside the UpdatePanel.

Yes. Inside ItemTemplate tags, you can place the update panel. That can have your LinkButton.
