For the last Question , you can add a templateField and Add a Checkbox. like this

Rename the namespace,
delete all the old dll's out of the bin folder
recompiled and hopefully it will work.

Hi..

I m opening new window from my application and displaying acrobat file there like this

Now, when i m doing it in my development machine everything works fine, but i have uploaded it to my development server and running through virtual directory.

what i observed is .. the acrobat file is displayed but in restored mode and i want to maximize this window but can not , because the maximize button is disabled. rest of the buttons are ok...

could u please guide me..

Why dont you use Repeater to draw this.

Repeater can draw any html on the screen.
Use Nested Repeater to do this job. Smile | :)

Hi to All,

Since, I am not so familiar with all controls, Could anyone please help me out, in choosing the appropriate controls for the requirements.

I am planning to create an richUI site with good speed(data retrival)...more or less a Social Network site....
Now, before I go ahead, I need to decide what controls to use and what not, for the main design (say a master page)....

So, in order to put all the links on the left side, and whatever data will be changing (say, something like scrapbooks or msges in orkut.com) on the main page.....what controls i need to use....For the left side links, i can use the accordian control...But what about my main contents (scrapbook/mails/something else, which will be changing according to the links on the accordian control) on the side??...should I put those in a Update Panel or an Update panel inside an ContentPlaceHolder?....
What about dividing the whole page into a table?....put accordian into left side, panels into the contentplaceHolder...?....Problem may occur when i resize the page...

Please advice me for the same...

Use of lots of complex control means lots of javascript load and site becomes slow. Avoid using complex control. Tables render slow in client, you can also use ul /li to generate tables if they are used in fixed size.

Compress your output stream using GZip compression always.

I got an answer for my question "How to detect JRE in a client machine".I want to share it with you all.Here is the solution.
