Is it any possible to fix the problem.

Assuming you are talking about C#, optional parameter may mean 2 things:
1. You have method overloads, where certain parameters are defaulted:
public void DoThis(string name)
{
DoThis(name, true);
}
public void DoThis(string name, bool someTest)
{
}2. You are talking about a feature that's being introduced in C#4.0, so you can have a signature that looks like this:
public void DrawMyLine(int x1, int y1, int x2, int y2, Color color = new Color())
{
}

Optional Parameters in sense Default parameter
like in VB
public myfunction(byval s as string,optional byval arr string(,))as string
in C#:
public string myfunction(string QryName,
[Optional, DefaultParameterValue({"",""})] string[,] Qry)
{
....
}
I tried to use this code but it shoming error.Here i'll make this Qry as a OPtional one

This feature will be available only in .NET 4.0. Are you using Visual Studio 2010 Beta?
What error are you getting.

The Error is
The type of the argument to the DefaultValue attribute must match the parameter type

I don't know much WS2010, yet, but {"", ""} is not a string[,], it's a string[].
Try using something like { { "" } } instead.

C# would not support that but VB.NET has support for that. Your best bet would be to go in for overloads.

Current versions of C# do not support optional parameters. This functionality will not be released until Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0 comes out.

How can we find if an excel workbook has other data in it except text?
Because i am trying to write data in excel having picture objects or macros the excel sends its own error messages and crashes

Hi, is not a good choice for the subject of your message.
"Problem writing images to Excel", or something similar is far better. Many people will simply ignore posts with a subject like yours, therefore cutting down on the chances of your getting a useful response.

hi
i am working on a project that need to transaction between a database on server and application on client.
but i dont know how set the connection string and anything else to need to be set for this goal.
please tell me a solution or website or toturial sample for this problem.

oh i think that you didnt understand my means
i want to set a connection string and anything else on server for connect to a database on the server via application that runs on clients pcs. i test the usuall connection string like webserver connection string that used for asp.net or localhost connection string that used in local application but these technique does not work.
if you know some information about server settings for work with database please help me.

No such thing, but, whatever...
You don't "set" the connection string on the server. A connection string describes how and what a client should connect to to get at a certain database.
Since you don't make any mention of which database engine your trying to connect to, and/or how you're providing credentials to login, how the database is setup to accept credentials, ..., it's impossible for anyone to tell you what the connection string might look like.
So, have a look at http://www.connectionstrings.com[^].

Hey buddies ........ I just started to make local area chat ............ I can send and recieve stream of data but how do i know whether the connected client(s) are disconnected or not while chatting?
One other thing I want to ask is ................. How can I send Images with each other in this clients ..... and to display one image from one client to another clients picture box? ................

If they disconnect, the socket dies.
Sending an image is the same as sending text really, but if you previously only sent text you'll need a way to keep text and images apart (just stick an int in front of them or something like that)

Of course, when you're trying to use a socket and it throws an exception, then that's the socket which died

Hi,
use a static integer variable to count the active clients in your main thread of server.  each time a client connects count 1 up. and decrease if the clients disconnects.
