You mean you want to add a variable or a script. ??

If you want a variable.. you need to write using <% %> tag.
Just like :

<%= this.MyText %> (provided MyText is a class level variable with atleast protected access specifier is applied).

On the other hand if this is a script, in Page_Load use

string scriptelement = "if (document.all||window...."; //your script
if(!this.ClientScript.IsClientScriptBlockRegistered("myscript"))
this.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "myscript", scriptelement, true);

Find the UserName from the codebehind. You need to get the permission from Database or whatever authentication you use.

Check if the current user has proper permission.
If not, put drpdown.Enabled = false;

Also this is not property, its a method which handles SelectedIndexChanged event. But you need to disable this inside Page_Load or other events outside this. Because this event will only occur when combobox changes its value.

Well, I suggest you to read some basic books first on how to code.
Your requirement is very simple, We do this everyday. Just you need to find the permission and construct like this

if (hasPermission)
xob1.Enabled = true;

Is it because of DNS lookup of your web server or your actual web method is doing huge task?

I have already told you, you need to use Async method to do this. Otherwise the control will not be coming back until the response is made totally. Use HttpRequest object to get Soap response from the client. Smile | :)

Why do you need full path of file ?

Use

if (FileUploadControl.HasFile)<br />
   FileUploadControl.SaveAs(newfilepath);

This is not like that. This is an Infix string. First of all you need to convert into of PostFix or Prefix to perform the calculation as the computer does internally.
For that you can simply use Data Structure like Stack or Tree.
