I've two classes, here is an example of 'em

now, I want that when any property(of base class) of B changes then it should change the same propery of instanceOf_A. I can do this if I pass a property name as param from every property and then change value using PropertyInfo in PropertyChanged. But I was wondering that is there any way to know which property changed or which property called PropertyChanged, something like callstack...

yes...its for keeping the actual data in it so that it can be retrieve when require. In the previous version of that class I used a physical file to keep the data but now I need it in class.

Doesn't the PropertyName property of the PropertyChangedEventArgs class gives the name of the property thats changed?

yes but it needs to be initiate from every property with PropertyName and I think thats the only way

if your problem were that you want your program to behave differenly each time it runs, you need to persist some state outside the process, maybe in a file, or in the registry.

Hi there
I am trying to create crystal reports that can be generated dynamically.
At the moment i am able to generate static reports by using a value from the database.
I have a treeview that has been populated with many different products from an access database. I would like to be able to select any item from the tree view and a report should be shown for that product. I need to generate a couple different report types, ie. quote, invoice.. Would it be possible to create one template for each and reuse them for the different products. So if i wanted an invoice for some product, i could select the product from the treeview and maybe another form comes up asking the format of the report and i could specify invoice there.
If anyone is able to help me with this I really would appreciate it.

Can Someone help me in creating a pattern to match for a for loop statement with these kind of examples:

It's only for a simple for loop statement just like the examples above...I'll use the pattern for parsing a for loop statement...

Its not like that...I just can't understand completely how to create a pattern. I don't know how to use the characters like '^', '*', '\' etc even if i already searched for reading resources on the web. I'm a bit confused on how to use or create the pattern since there are so many programming applications that uses that.

Looking at this and your previous thread (and starting a new thread isn't likely to get you any better answers than before) I think you're approaching this wrongly.
For best flexibility, and to really capture all the variations of possible "for" statements, you should look at a simple parser. They aren't hard to write, and by using the correct syntax definition you can easily check for all possible legal statements. I remember compiler development was part of our course at uni, and even though I've never had to write a compiler in anger, the tricks and techniques have come in useful in other areas.

Hi,
I am importing data to Excel sheets from Database. For this, I am using datareader. The excel sheet template has some macros and few formulae calculated and its not the normal excel worksheet. so I have to write the data into the excel sheet only if the particular cell is allowed to write. If not, the data shouldn't be imported.
so, for this, I have a XML file which says from which column i should start writing and which row it should stop, I have done for many sheets. But in one sheet, I have first cell of the row is "readonly" and the rest are write access permitted.
As, I get entire row from DB using Datareader, I am stuck up to write to other cells, except for the particular cell.
I am attaching the code snippet for reference. \

This piece of code reads the data from DB if the reader has rows.It then opens a new preloaded excel template file and assigns the reader data to the Values object. Then for the header length (HeaderData.Length) in XML file it writes to the each excel cell and finally it saves the file and closes. The location where the data is written is excelworksheet.Cells[CurTaskNode.DATA_MIN_ROW + minRow, CurTaskNode.DATA_MIN_COL + minCol] = values[iValueIndex]; // Actually a check needs to be performed b4 this whether to write into cell. i'm not able to do it.

Hi,
I am working on a windows application. The requirement that's troubling me is I have an MDI form(Parent form) using which I can navigate to other forms.The view should be in such a way that when the user clicks a menu item--Users Management the window should not open seperately but with in the form. A very good example for this is in web application we have master pages which is common for all the pages. when the user clicks a link only the content in child page changes.
