Hello,
In my application i am having a datagridview.
And in that datagridview one of the column is textbox.
I like to validate the textbox so that only numbers to be entered into
the textbox.
And on clicking the button a dialog box with error messesge to be
displayed if any other is entered into the textbox beyond the number.
plz, help me in doing this......

If the example that you gave the link for is not simple, I do not know what is.
That was the simplest example I have seen.
I can only suggest that you continue searching the web and actually try out the examples you find. With more familiarity, comes understanding.
As an alternatice, take a look at this[^], which uses the settings of the application.

Hi all,
I want to animate 2D images, specially face;
My scenario is i should draw contours of face around the image, on next key frame i should change the shapes of contour. When i animate i get the face in the image should animate accordingly.
It is something like morphing, but in morphing we have 2 images. In my scenario i have one image.

I would say the video in that link you have provided it using 3D animation, Could be 2D but either way I very much doubt it is done from a single image.
The task you have described would be a big challenge for any programmer who specializes in image manipulation, one of which I am not.
Lets say for instance you want to animate just the mouth. First you would need to detect the location of the mouth, the you need to detect the exact outline of the mouth, and the jaw, and any other part of the image that will be affected. I'm sure you could do a search for facial recognition and get a fair few good hits, I would suggest that's where you start. Try to detect and highlight the outline of the mouth. If you can do that, which would be very impressive indeed, and you still need more help, then come and post for more specific help.
I would also like to say, I would be immensely stunned if somebody could produce such software (as you speak of) with the quality demonstrated in the video you have shown.

The video i posted looks like a 3D animation, but it is created with a 2D image in CrazyTalk 6 software.

Upload any portrait photo, provide some text, choose voice selection. And your image will start talking.
I want to reproduce this application. To reduce the complexity, My application will prompt the user to plot the location of eyes, nose, lips and face. After words the picture will be animated.
The major point i can not understand behind the link is, the speed of rendering, as we upload the image, default animation is generated on the fly.
Since i have to plot the locations of face by myself, so i do not need any Face recognition software. If you are familiar with Flash Shape Tweening option, you must remember the effect we simply shape tween a line. I want to tween the contours of the shape, but with these contours the image should change the shape automatically.
If after checking the new link, you got any idea to accomplish it, please please let me know.

Can anyone explain me.... regarding following problem. Though I got solution want to understand.
I made an applicatin in which 2 buttons are there.
1)Click on 1'st button is leading to 1'st gridview.
2)Click on link button of 1'st gridview is leading to 2'nd and,
3)Click on link button of 2'nd gridview is leading to 3'rd ....
likewise i was leading user to 3-4'th level detail.
Similarly on click of 2'nd button same procedure was getting followed.
I also have made BACK button to reach back to earlier stage from each grid view. i.e. From 3'rd gridview I was required to get to 2'nd griedview, and click on BACK again I was required to 1'st gridview and then again on buttons page on click of BACK once again.
This was happening fine with first button while it was not returning back from second buttons grid view. Even my Internet Explorer's, 'BACK' button also was geting disabled..! showing that there is no previous page...!
I searched much but could not find detail, but then got doubt on 'ViewState' which I used to filter data based on click comming from earlier grid. To solve my problem, instead of using 'ViewState' I used 'Session' and it worked. I am now able to come back to 2'nd button from which I started. That to step-by-step.
Thus problem is solved but wabt to know how this 'Session' worked then 'ViewState'
i.e :
ViewState["ds_Port_Summ"] = ds_Port_Summ; is replaced by,
Session["ds_Port_Summ"] = ds_Port_Summ;
and it worked.
Please explain, how/why it worked fine to go back to previous stage..?

I have a split container on the form. On the left panel and right panel I have tree views. I have set the tree view scroll bars to false. When the treeviews increase in size, tthe panels doesn't show any scroll bar even though autoscroll property of the panels are set to true. How can I show the scroll bars of the panel? I need to synchronise both the scroll bars later.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean the 'Scrollable' Property?

That because you tree view is not changing size so no need for scrolls,the scroll bars should be in the tree view.
All you need to do is have the TreeView Scrollable property set to true (which is the default) and the scrolls bars will appear when they need to. If they don't then you must be doing something else to prevent them.

It does matter as to the answer I may choose to give him.
If he says that he just has two identically tree views then I would suggest that it would be best, from a users point of view, to just have one. If he says something like they are used to compare data then I would point out that problems will occur with different numbers of nodes (for example, you cant scroll to the 100th node on a TreeView that only has 50 nodes etc.)
As I am sure you are aware, there are a lot of people new to the subject of programming (not to suggest the OP is new) that use these forums. Sometimes it can be more helpful to question a persons design choices in order to illustrate better solutions for the future.
if somebody gave the example like follows with the question how do I make i3 be the sum of i2 and s1, I need to convert s1 to a number to add to i1...

Have you set the Dock property of the treeView to DockStyle.Fill?

I have set the DockStyle as DockStyle.Fill. But still I am unable to see the scroll bars even though the tree view is completly loaded. I can select the nodes which are not visible, but the scroll bars of the panels doesn't appear

I ran into the same thing but couldn't find any suitable answer, at last figured it out on my own. Adding it here, it might help somebody else.
Scroll bars appear when child's size increases or it goes out of the bounds of parent. But when you set the Dock Property of child (in this case TreeView) to Fill, the splitter, when resized, changes the size of its child as well. hence no scroll bar will appear.
If you must set the Dock property then use AutoScrollMinSize property of parent.
