Hi all,

I already managed to connect to the dataase-MySQL:-select and insert the data in the database.

But, my problem is, how am i going to put the data into the list.

Let say when I'm doing the selecting, i got 20 records. And each record is contain 4 fields.

How am I going to set the data to

(field1, field2, field3, field4)

From ur question, what i understood is that, you want to set a data to the a row of the table. So i suggested the mysql website,
If my understand is wrong then please explain ur question.

What I want to do is to have a struct / linked list..

So when I display the data, it will display like

Why bother with a struct/list when you can display the data straight from the record set?

Are you using MFC?

The Graphics Device Interface (GDI) is a Microsoft Windows application programming interface and core operating system component responsible for representing graphical objects and transmitting them to output devices such as monitors and printers.

GDI is responsible for tasks such as drawing lines and curves, rendering fonts and handling palettes. It is not directly responsible for drawing windows, menus, etc.; that task is reserved for the user subsystem, which resides in user32.dll and is built atop GDI.

A Device Context (DC) is used to define the attributes of text and images that are output to the screen or printer. The actual context is maintained by GDI. An HDC, which is a handle to the structure, is obtained before output is written and released after the elements have been written.

does anyone know about .ptf extension file..(ptf stands for portable transcript file)... i wanna use files of that type in my application... can someone enlighten me the ptf concepts...i tried googling but dint work very well for me..i wanna know the technical details behind this file format...

can anyone teach me??

Hi all,

In an Standard combobox you can select the items from dropdown and as well edit it..

But in an owner drawn combobox after adding the items, u can only select from drop down.
What has to be done in order to allow owner drawn combo box to allow editing as standard control?? Roll eyes | :rolleyes:
