Hi,

I am working on apop3 application. In this I connected to gmail and retrieved the selected number of mails. After this I closed the connection using "Quit" command. Then the number of emails that I selected are deleted from the pop3.
To solve this I used "RSET" command before "QUIT". But even then the emails are deleted.

If anyone have any idea to solve this please reply me.

this has nothing to with the application but the way you have configured the Email Server.

Especially, gmail has this option When messages are accessed with POP [^]where you can define what to once the email is accessed through POP3.

Hi all,

I have one windows service made in C#. I want My service to create CSV file every two minutes... but it should overwrite the existing file every two minutes. but whenever I try - it says file is already open - while I am sure that file is processed during those elapsed two minutes.. How do i programmatically close the file or overwrite the same. My file creation is through windows utility CSVDE (so have no control over creation except for the time and name!)

I think you forgot to close the stream or something like that if you send the code, maybe i can have better ideas.

What did you try to find the params yourself?

A simple google search [^]gave me these reults.

And the first one [^]seems to answer your questions.

Hi Experts
i using Visual Studio 2005.
I Fill a grid using Dataview in C#.NET winForms.
I Filter it with Dataview RowFilter then the result Come After Row Filter
Show in Different Grid now i want to Filter The Data from Second Grid not from first grid.
I mean to say that suppose e.g I Have Grid Result first Time
ID Name
1 Hello How R
2 i am fine
3 this is my book
4 this is C# Book
5 this is C# Example
6 Book is black

now i apply Row Filter on the 'this is'
dvs.RowFilter =Name like '%this is %'

now Result Come
ID Name

Now i am again apply Row Filter not on the first case but apply on the second case.

now i apply Row Filter on the 'this is'

now Result Come this

I want this result set

but result come

then how to fix this problem

Another options is that, use the CopyTo method of the dataview after the fisrt operation and now use this datatable to filter the results for the next datagridview

What you already done for this, if you don't know how to retrieve data from database, just buy a book and go through it.

I just give some hits to retrieve data from database for searching

1.write a sql query for searching
2.Execute with sqldatareader or dataset
3.display the result using grid view.

Am checking on server the type of string inside a text box if it was only character i allow it to save on the database. I use JS but i have to check on server in case the user has disabled the JS.

I Will try it but am also searching for a regular expression tha would allow alphabatical charachters only and Arabic Charachters.
