Calendar Web server control will do postback when you select a date.

You cannot avoid it.

Instead, try to use AJAX Calendar Extender[^]

It will not make a postback a server when a date is selected.

Just use AJAX Update panel, put your calendar control inside update panel, do the partial post back. Or Use AJAX Calendar Control Or Any JavaScript Calendar Control.

I have Page.SmartNavigation = true; in my page load but it does not work' My browser does not maintain its last position after the page refreshes.

SmartNaviagtion is obsolete http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.ui.page.smartnavigation.aspx[^]
You should use Page.MaintainScrollPositionOnPostBack

iam downloadin file which has arabic file name with a length more than 60 characters in arabic when i click on download the file name is showing ...and arabic file name and while saving the complete file name is comming.how to solve this problem

hi thanks for ur reply My problem is iam having a arabic file with large file name like this شش شششش شش شششش شش شششش شش شششش.doc when iam trying to download this file using the dowload code in file download popup iam able to see only few characters of the file name and while saving iam not getting the exact file name wat i download above how to solve this problem

Do you use the default file downloader or a third component party? You could post the code where you download the file, so maybe we can find the issue there.

I'm afraid that it is an encoding problem, but not really sure. Did you try to download the file without your app, just by browsing to the file with your browser?

here file.name contains that arabic file name with a long name characters.

sorry to disturb u ...i have got the soluting for that problem.now this is new problem iam facing abi..since some cases the arabic file name is large more than 40 characters in length then while saving the file actual file name is not coming

Set UserDateFormat="DayMonthYear" CultureName="en-GB"

There is a LiveSound tool that you can use ... but it's EXPENSIVE !!!!
Otherwise you'll have to use AJAX (Let my cry with you !) :,-(
