That's not to say it was no good, just didn't fit what I wanted. When you add a web reference, the visual studio creates a proxy to the web service to help your application communicate. So far I've understood from the discussion that I need to build it after modifications and plug in the appropriate dll's in the DNN website's Bin folder. But the question is, can I customize the blog module in VS 2008? if yes then how? or do I have to go back to VS 2003 somehow and make a build in there? and... how do we configure the dnn blog project? In general, client has provided WSDL files, so using that we have to call their web services. so to use web service or to call them we need to add web reference of that wsdl files to our application and need to generate a proxy class so that we can call client methods for requesting the data and get response from their side. If two web applications need to share code, your best bet is to create a solution with two web application projects and one class library project. The class library can easily be shared by both web applications, just add a reference to the class library project from the web application project. I didn't get any requirements for the signature
