If the same is rss then the link should be giving some xml file.
The link is accepting some query string arguments, reading and displaying the same on scree.
You cannot do any thing with this.

I want to redirect to other web page. based on the click of ok button ,i used script of message box by using
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript();
means after clicking ok button it must redirect to another page.
but if i put response.redirect() after the ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript() code. it automatically redirects to other page without displaying my message box, how to solve this problem.
pls give the code.

Why dont you use the Client itself to do the redirection instead of coming back to the server and doing Response.Redirect.
In short you need to write a Javascript function which will execute on click of OK button.
function RedirectAfterMessage()

}

Hi, I have used crystalreportviewer in one of my webpages.It works well in local pc.but after uploading it on the server, it started throwing some javascript error whenever we press print button or export button of crystalreportviewer.
the javascript error is : Object doesn't support this action.
Can anyone help me?

I too have the almost the same problem.
Only that i am able to print from teh source code but when i publish my project onto the server then i cannot print it from the client's local printer

Dear All,
I use ASP.net AccessDataSource to retrieve data from a Access file. In this Access file, two tables are updated automatically by a Excel file and MsSQL(ODBC) respectively. The Access file and Excel file are in the same folder, so Access file can retrieve data from the Excel one successfully. However, when ASP.net -> Access -> MsSQL(ODBC connection called "ProyectoCongelados"), I got the following error message:System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: ODBC--connection to 'ProyectoCongelados' failed.
Anyone can give me some advice?

I am unable to judge where you got problem. Any code? You are using AccessDataSource - OleDB classes and where is code that uses ODBC?

To read data from word file requires Ms-Office Interop service - DLL. So, add the reference of Ms-Word com component. LINQ is the another way to read a word document.

In this method i am declering hardcoded array decleration of sqlparameter.

I am stucked in to a problem. I am working on a shopping cart project. When a user selects an category from the menu, it showcases the subcategories related to that category. It is showcased like this:
first the image (in the image button control) then below it the name of the category (in the hyperlink control). Both are clickable. Now if the user further clicks on any of the sub category, the name and the category id is passed to the next page through query string. Suppose the name of the category is "Spirit Dispensers & Measures". When I am retrieving this through request.querystring, the problem arises i.e
ch_name = Request.QueryString["name"];
While debugging by using breaking point I found that the variable ch_name is showing only "Spirit Dispensers" and when I am checking the QueryString by mouseover it is showing like this "Spirit+Dispensers+&+Measures" .
But I want the full name in the variable as "Spirit Dispensers & Measures" . So please help me out. Its really urgent.
