If I understand correctly, you'd need a different stored procedure to do the insert, most probably with the same parameters so the code you have above would work with both - just change the "queryName"

this is cool solution,what i want, this is not the answer
i want my store procedure equivalent insert statement.
I would like to get the log of insertion,deletion,update of my queries and save these statement as a separate row in table called "tblLog"
I want to save only the sql statement into a row in the log table.

Use System.Windows.Forms.HelpProvider(available in the ToolBox) and assign the .chm (or.wcp) file to its namespace property. On pressing the F1 key, the help file will be shown.

hi everybody
i m doing a small banking application
i have three tables master,transactions,ledgers
if i m entering the opening balance from master table it inserts in the ledger table and display that value properly.
if i update that value in master it updates ledger value properly.
i enter the values in grid view and save them
they are saved in ledger table as well as corresponding tables.here i m using storedprocedures for saving values.
ledger table is read only it displays only report in gridview
**transaction table have 3 columns

**my ledger table have 4 columns
-------------------------------------------
date | deposit | withdrawl | balance
-------------------------------------------
now the task is
if i enter amount in 'deposit'column of 'transaction table's gridview' ,it displays in deposit column of ledger gridview
for suppose
i enter amount in 'withdrawl 'column of 'transaction table's gridview' ,it displays in withdrawl column of ledger gridview
now balance will be calculated and displays in balance column of ledger's gridview
how can i calculate and displays in gridview of ledger

I don't see the problem, you write the transactions back to the database, presumably you have a proc to supply the ledger data so recall that proc after each transaction entry.

Hi,
I'm doing some Microsoft Word automation using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word namespace,
in this application i'm opening a file (template.docx) and making some changes in it and then saving it.
Just when the file is going to be opened:
myWordDoc = myWordApp.Documents.Add(ref filename, ref missing, ref missing, ref missing);
i receive this exception:
Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt. <br />
<br />
Try one or more of the following: <br />
<br />
* Open and Repair the file. <br />
<br />
* Open the file with the Text Recovery converter. <br />
but i'm sure the file is not corrupt, i can open it in word and its data is correct.
Whould anyone please tell me what should i do now???

i need some information on this project if any wud like to help me out on this plzzzz......
I need the following:
1. The software tool must work over network, so that any user on his client station can manage or create VOIP accounts with different access control.
2. We get from the VOIP-Provider the Login & Password for each Phone number. We must create approximately 50,000 VOIP logins by the provider For our “Order Service” by each client WE MUST know on the “Softphone Client” from what registered phone number come the call with the registered Name by the VOIP provider.
3. We will install the Phone client Software later on each workstation to connection to PBX server
4. The PBX server MUST run on the VPN line. If the VPN line cuts any technical reason MUST immediately cut all VOIP registrations to provider and wait that the VPN is working and automatically registered again ALL registered VOIP numbers by provider.
5. To the tool MUST existing following function: One time in the month (so that we not loose by the provider the phone number) must call each registered phone number the other registered phone number! Not only ringing the number also has automatically to take the call for 1 second and hang up and take the next phone number.
6. When we added more VOIP accounts must also automatically added to the function under NUMBER 5!

Why do you need to use open office to create a PDF? 
There are plenty of PDF libraries that you can use from your app and when I did a search, there's someone who has already done what you need. It's called ExcelReports[^].

This is very silly mistake which u can trace it out.

The quick answer:

Why?
Try changing your code to this:

You will discover that duration equals " 0:01'22 " and so the string you are trying to parse is "0:" - thats why you keep getting the error.

Is kind of wierd as the Replace has no effect - as I mentioned Duration == " 0:01'22 ". No "#" there...

There is still room for some improvement. 
Instead of getting a one character string, you can get a character. You can change this:
if (line.Substring(11, 1) == "=")
to:
if (line[11] == '=')
You can use the >= operator instead of doing both > and == comparisons. You can change this:
if ((string.Compare(Lineout, "0") > 0 || string.Compare(Lineout, "0") == 0) && (string.Compare(Lineout, "9") < 0 || string.Compare(Lineout, "9") == 0))
to:

I while back I wrote this method that you can use to replace Int32.Parse, and that is about ten times faster. That could help to speed up it a bit.

i need to get customer information from a java web service my client app is a C# . instead of calling the web service several times i want to get customer object , to do this i use a customer xsd and generated two classes one for c# and other of java ,then i added those classes to relevant party, in the java web service i create a customer object and fill it with info and send to c#, but in C3 it say that the passed object can't be implicitly cast ,any idea to solve this .

Whenever you modify the java code you need to update the references(proxy classes) in C# and then compile it.
