Without seeing the declarations for powerList, powerIndex and typeIt it is not possible to be absolutely sure.

Also are the ellipses meant to indicate that you have fully initialised the arrays, or are they what you have literally typed in your code.

Lastly it would be very helpful to know on which line the error occurs.
