I figured it out. In the aspx page in the treeview component you have to set the following.

AutoPostBackOnNodeExpand ="true "

Hi. I've put a GridView inside a UpdatePanel. GridView is enabled for paging. now i want to display a message from the client side when ever GridView is rebinded through paging i.e. particular portion is updated.

You could try using an UpdateProgress control with the UpdatePanel.

in my web application I m taking entry by grid from the user.
user inserts hundreds of lines in grid and when he is finised he presses submit button and data is saved into database.

Now problem is, when user is inserting hundredth line and some network failure occurs or client system shuts down. Then all the data entered by the user losts.

So tell me any way so that when user logs in next time a message should be their to recover last lost data. and user is able to recover his lost data.

Please send the reply. It is as urgent as anything.

Have some javascript send the data to some area for draft information until the final version is submitted. Each time the user goes to that page the draft information is looked for. It it exists is is loaded, if not then the user carries on as normal.

Maybe the better way is to save the data automatically & timely.
Two ways as below:
1) automatically save the data every 30s, 60s, ... etc;
2) automatically save the data when the user input 10th line, 20th line, ... etc.

Hi, i developed one web applicatin and deployed on server. The applicaiton is working fine. One of the webpage in applicaiton tooks .csv file data and process the data and gives the output in .csv format.
If the .csv file(input file is small size) its working fine. It the .csv file is around 14 MB it processing the file up to some time and it displaying the message in browser as "Internet explorer cannot display this message." I have checked in server, the file is uploading to server correctly.

The inside process is, it has to read data from ,csv file to datatable and process it and writes datatable output to another .csv file and allow the user to download.

I have checked by having 3 lakh records in .csv file - working fine.
when i checked with 6 lakh records it showing above message.

Can any one suggest on this? why its happening?

I have created an assembly(for multilingual application) and installed in GACUtil with strong name but when i tried to access this assembly using

it shows error : "Could not find any resource"

Split the values into a string array(String.Split()), loop through it and insert one by one.

Try stepping through in debug and see what is happening, thats the easiest way of fixing it.

Hi I have made a report to print a Bill. every thing is working properly but Hight of Table varries according to the no of items.

I m putting Partnos , description , qty, rate, total in TABLE BODY section.

I have used footer section of TABLE control for tax and total amount display.

I have fixed 8 rows/ page.

when 8 rows r in report Tax comes at right place but when 2 or 3 rows r thier then Tax section comes immediatly after item rows.

I want it to come at fix place.

PLease help me out this problem.

Consider two websites hosted in different services:
Web X (Hosted in IIS)
Web Y (Hosted in Tomcat)

I have made a successful integration between tomcat and iis using isapi_redirector. Now, i can access the Web Y through IIS. How can we connect web X with web Y? Like how can i access the site (Y) using site (X) through IIS.

I have an excel containing mail address For example: In excel "column B" i have a number of email address in B1,B2,B3.... Now the thing i want each email address from B1,B2,B3 into my TextBox1.Text.

Am using vb.net with c# language.
