What happens if the user has disabled javascript?

I our case this will not happen because whole site is javascript dependent. If it is disabled then nothing will work and moreover the site is for Intranet use and user of this site will not have the flexibility to turn the javascript setting of the browser on or off at will.
But this question still remains. What if the site were for general public on the Internet? In that case what could be the solution if even javascript could not solve it? Any idea!!

Is this happening only one one machine? Can you reproduce it on another machine.
Today, I spent 30 minutes on non-issue with my boss's machine. The browser had old cached copy and clearing the cache *fixed* the issue.

I have written this code on my Login Page.
But on run mode this imagebutton,Textbox position is changing automatically.
What is wrong in my code?

The problem is with Layout of you application. If you have some times then just go through with GRIDLayout and FromLayout Desing of ASP.NET.
You can use proper CSS to Fix Them.

How I can convert this code to a WebMethod in WebService?

How ? Adding [Web Methods] Attributes with a method does not convert it into a web service.
You can create a separate web service for that, or you can add webservice in your current web application, which will add a webservice.cs file in your app code and do the rest thing by calling the WS.

Hi all,
Is there a way that i can use inline and attachment at the same time in content-disposition for Response Headers?
i have code like this
HttpContext.Current.Response.AddHeader("Content-disposition", "inline; filename=__aaa.pdf");
I want to open the file first in the browser and then open the dialog box for download as well.
How can i do that?
I tried to AddHeader again after that line of code and replaced the "inline" with "attachment", but that didn't work.
Please help me.

Dear all,
I want to know how to send automatic email notification taking email address from database and send each one ema  il according to there status for eg :- Choose email from database of status 1 and send them birthday message and for status 2 membership end message etc and each message template can also be picked by database.
As this can be done on regular basis, I know it can be done by window service but how it can be used with c# and sql server 2005
If any one of you have code than Please Post it.

So, what is you problem ? You want to create a Windows services which will regularly check your database and send the notification mail to the user ?
If yes, then what is the point to post this question in ASP.NET Forum.
You have to create a simple web service, which will call Some SP of of SQL server and retrieve the data from database.
By the way you can do all the thing only using SQL server 2005 also

This is true and probably sufficient for many cases, but be aware you are changing from POST to GET and then have the limitations of the querystring, such as: maximum of 2083 characters in the URI(This is IE, not sure for FF/Opera/other), and of course there are potentially security risks if you are sending any sensitive data it will be shown and can be easily altered by the end user.
If you are trying a to re-post without relying on the querystring to a different page in your application there are probably workarounds (maybe by populating fields on an intermediate page, or manually building a response...then having one of them autopost to your ultimate target?) But I have never tried these before.

You could either:
1.) Store the text with new line-seperators
2.) or set your textbox as multiline and wordwrap

I have written a web service that reads from a message queue. This works fine under Cassini.
Now that I have deployed the service under IIS, I receive an error message when the service tries to access the queue:
The queue does not exist or you do not have sufficient permissions to perform the operation.
I have set the anonymous access user on the IIS virtual directory to be my own domain account, which is a member of the administrators group on the local machine. I have granted this same user full permissions on the queue, as well as NETWORK SERVICE and ASPNET.
I still get the same error message (The queue does exist and the spelling is correct).
I have also tried disabling anonymous access on the virtual directory and connecting to the service using my own login details - to no avail.
Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated!
I have also tried various combinations of: Windows authentication, impersonation, local users, domain users, all of them having full permissions on the queue. I have added permissions for the user and ASPNET on the MSMQ store folders on C:\

Do the following :
1. Create A Application Pool In IIS (Say MSMQWEBAppPool)
2. Change the Identity of Application Pool To Local System ( Default > NetworkService )
3. Write Click You Virtual Directory, Select the MSMQWEBAppPool Application Pool from Application Pool Dropdown list.
4. Click on Apply.
Then Test your application.
Its is because, by default your you web sites run under default application pool, which identity is "Network Service" and which has very minimum privilege on the server. Local System having the higher privilege on you system.
You may face the same problem, while loogin error on Event viewer
So, Try, and Let me know the result.

Your understanding of the problem is pretty close, in that the process trying to execute the code is running as a different under IIS than it does under Cassini.
I am using IIS 5.0 and so I cannot create a separate app pool, although I can alter bay various means the user that the code runs as.
The problem was that regardless of which user I ran it as - I always got the same error message - even when the user was a member of the local and domain administrator groups, and this user had full permissions on the queue. i.e. It is barely possible to assign more rights to a user.
It turns out, that using a FormatName for the queue, rather than a path name (myMachine\queueName) has solved the problem...
FormatName:DIRECT=OS:myMachine\myQueue
I am uncertain as to exactly why this is the case. Reading up has showed that when a path name is used, there is a necessity for an AD lookup, and although I think that the users that I have been testing with should have rights to do this, perhaps there is something missing.
However the immediate problem is solved and that's good enough for me.
