Hi,
I have an website with login page "login.aspx".
I have a tool created in JBOSS inside my website. It is being loaded with a separate link inside my site.
I need to make this 2 as a single sign-on.
i.e., Once i enter the login page of my asp.net application i have to post the login credentials to the JBOSS tool. Could any one help me on this?

Hi,
The tool is meant for some project management.
My problem is the login page takes only a sinle querystring ?key=login if the session is out. Otherwise I can't give any parameters.
As i am not having code for this third party application, I need to do something from my site.
The login credentails are same for the tool as that of my website.

There is nothing you can do on your side without knowing what is it like on the other side. You need to know excatly how is it configured, what does it take for login. It is only after you know the details you can handle it on your side.

actually that tool is using POST method and this is the action used:"/tool/Request?Key=login".
I have tried bu just calling the login page by setting the values for fields "loginId" & "password" in url. it is not accepting.
Do u find any way to enter the values to these fields & post the page from aspx or javascript coding?

assuming your jboss login page is login.jsp

try this for a size

you asking a general question how to create and connect to database. It is a broad question. pickup a book on ADO.NET, read from the vast collection of CP articles[^] and get yourself up to speed. Then when you have specific question you can ask it at the appropriate forum.

1st of all i want to thank u for ur generous reply, Now coming to the point, i have gone through books and i know how very well how to create and connect to database i.e on a local system or on network.
What i want to know is how to do the same for appl_data folder which exists inside a project we created.
