when user click on imagebutton8 show true and after click on imagebutton8 again show true but I want show False.

Hi,
I have a serious problem as use web service in .net,

the problem is described in the following link to microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/815131

I have to work with three Web services, each of which I shall return complex objects such

is array containing an array of complex objects

eg

Elem ele = new Elem();

class Elem{

Arrayd[] arr = new Arrayd[x];

}

class Arrayd{

class dettagliopre{

string tre;

...Classes are too long, but if necessary to send the following....

when using web service I get the data the utility of visual studio does not recognize the objects serialized in the proxy class and associates the type of return to type System.Data.DataSet or System.Data.DataSet []

...Furthermore, the data returned from the three web service must be compatible with each other...

I have 4 drop down lists that are added dynamically to a page. Each ddl is in its own ajax update panel along with triggers pointing to the ddls above it. my problem is when i change the value of a ddl, the listitems of that ddl are removed, and then if i change another ddl i get the following message. "Invalid postback or Callback argument."

for eg.

when i redirect to the page in url its shown like
"http://localhost:3506/CMS/About%20Us.htm"

i want to remove such "%20" from about%20.htm.(i need url like
"http://localhost:3506/CMS/About+Us.htm")

how its possible.

what do you think %20 means? why do your want to remove it? What do you think will happen if you remove it? Just think about it.

%20 reperensts the space in "About Us.htm". Now what happens when you remove it, you get "AboutUs.htm". Is that what you want to get. I don't think so. Suspicious | :suss:

Faliure Sending mail---urgent

I am getting this following error while trying to send a mail in asp.net.
"Failure sending mail. ----> System.FormatException: Smtp server returned an invalid response"
Please help me out....its urgent.

you see, sending an email is unpredictable. It takes its own time. Don't rush it with urgent or the system will throw all sorts of exception as a protest. Pretend it is not urgent and it will go zoom. Another thing I find it very useful is bribing the loclhost, chocolate chip cookies are the best bribes.

Try to debug your code. It is telling you, your message is not properly formatted. what else can I say?

Thanx....but i am getting an another error saying "SendUsing" configuration value is invalid while using System.web.mail namespace.
And IIS also has been properly installed into my pc.

Hi all,
I have this client who knows nothing about web in general and now wants to open and edit images in web.
Is it possible that i display an image in a aspx page (some images are really huge > 100 Mb) and let the client edit it (add some text areas like in mspaint) and then save these changes to that image replacing the old one. thinking out loud is it possible to open the image with mspaint in the aspx page then the user submit changes and save over the old path maybe
Any ideas and thanks in advance

You can use third party asp.net image editing [^] controls or look at this one[^]

I don't think so. Imagine if someone can open your local applications from an aspx page.

You can use more then one Content Place Holder. So just place 2nd Place Holder at the top in Login.Master , and in the Login.aspx type the title of the Login Page.

Or in the Master Page at the Page_Load()

you can get the name of the current page

some_variable = System.Web.HttpContext. Current.Request.Url.AbsolutePath

and then type a switch statement to set a Label at the Top.

Like

If (some_variable.Contains("Login.aspx"))
         lblTitle = "Login Page";

Hi,
I've an application developed in ASP.Net to convert any file to pdf file using PDF Printer.
In the .aspx page I've kept one button control and in the click event I've written :

In the properties of the PDF Printer, in the Port tab, I've set the port to "My Document\*.pdf " . It will save the .pdf file to My Document.

I'm using ASP.Net 2.0 with IIS 5.1 installed.

The issue is :
This is working fine while running the application directly(i.e. the Krushna.doc file is converting to Krushna.pdf and save to My Document Folder) .

But when the application running from IIS, it is asking to save the pdf file i.e. one save dialog window is opened. But I need to directly save the pdf file to the My Document Folder.

Please reply...It is urgent requirment.
