As my subject says, I am trying to create a border function like excel in datagridview. I have been googling for few days, and it looks like there is no easy answer to set border color for selected cells. If anybody has any clue on how to do this, it will be much appreciated. Thank you very much!
Note: I have successfully created bold function and (modified with the color picker found from this site) color picker for backcolor and forecolor with saving the setting in an xml file. If anyone needs it, please let me know.

i have to print data in Invoice Format. In MSDN i saw about "TabularReport" to print data in Invoice Format.
can anybody give information how can i desing "TabularReport" ?
how can i bind data into TabularReport ?

For registration of The Software. In Client Side It Generate A Customer Key.
When Client Send Me The Customer Key either By Phone,Mobile or Mail.
I Give Him A Serial Key Against This Customer Key For each Customer It Generate
a New Customer Key Every Time. But Problem is That Suppose That The Person Whom
i am Giving The CD/DVD Or My Software Set Up He or She Give This Software To Another
Friends or Person at That Time It Generate Customer Code Also At That End the He or She Also Contact With Me To give The Serial Number. i am Giving him/her Also.
But I am Not Know He/she is Our Or Genuine Client.Then How I Check That The
Another Person is Used Original Software or Pirated Software and Then Stop
His Services. My Software Is Window Application But After Some Periods I am Sending Him update of Software on Internet on My Web site at this Stage Help Me What is the Solution of this Problem

I'm desperate for a program to give me an XP style menu in Vista. I'm sure the Vista menu is great for all those lazy, ignorant people that can't be bothered to organize their start menu and end up with columns and columns of menus. However I want my XP menu back! I love the pinned shortcuts at the top left followed below by most recently used shortcuts below. My folder view is only 4 or 5 folders: Office, Studio, System, Applications are my standard folders and I arrange everything in those folders. I want to keep this, but you can't do it in Vista. You only get the option of the classic menu. Classic? More like antiquated! I've searched and searched, but I can't find anything to accomplish this. I don't understand because I'm nowhere near the only one in this position. So, I'm turning to you guys and gals for help. Anyone know of how to get an XP style menu on Vista?

I think the only way you're going to get that is to replace Explorer.exe with your own version, or some 3rd aprtry replacement. Come to think of it, I haven't seen a single replacement that was 100% stable.

hi,
i have a windows form project developed by devexpress tools and bind my data in access database to grid. But, i couldn't bind to grid more than one tables. i want to show the tables in one grid but not shown in master-detail view. I created a query to combine tables but in grid, no data seen. Could you help me, please.

If you're trying to do what I think you are, you can't do it. A grid can only be bound to a single table at a time. I would probably create another grid control for each table you want, put them all on a Panel control if you need to scroll through all the tables.

As a tip, anonymous univoting is considered bad form unless you can provide a reason
The reason that I replied as I did is that such a control requires very good knowledge of database structure, custom control design, SQL queries and database access. These are not easy subjects to master. If you learn these, then you may be able to develop it.
Presumably, by related rows you mean those which are primary keys linked to another table. However, in order to make something like that fully customisable, you'll want to use a delegate, which returns true if a row is related, and passes a DataTable which contains the related rows. You'll then have to deal with any results recursively in a separate method. Call this delegate for every row in the source DataTable
That's just the DataTable parsing. It doesn't deal with the access of the DataTable, or how the controls are added to the control in the right place. Do you understand now why it's considered humorous when someone who can't spell 'please' or ask a well-phrased question posts such a request? This is also why you got some sarcastic responses
