Is it Possible in a Gridview to Disable a Cell like a button ?

I have been Googling for this but no luck

Well, then what is there to disable? All you can do is change the color so that it looks like disabled.

For example: In the RowDataBound Event of the Gridview, e.Row.Cells(2).Enabled = False disables the cell in the third column of the GridView.
Just add your logics...

Now the bolded Code is the One that will remove the Cell when it matches the variable "s". So now line

   row.Cells.RemoveAt(Convert.ToInt32(s));

remove All the the cells. At the End the Variable "s" will contain a int value of 4, but it will not remove only it, but it will remove other 3 Cells.

I want to remove only the cell with a value "4"

How IsPostBack is working. the following is my code in Page_Load event. every time when i click on this page link or when i refresh this page it is calling bindData(); function.

IsPostBack will return TRUE when the page has posted back. It will return FALSE if it is a normal refresh.

so will it work always. my problem is , all the pages i have home page link. when i click the Home Page Link from the other pages also again it is calling the function written inside if(!IsPostBack).

The Page_Load event function is in Home Page. How can i avoid always calling the function.

It will call as it is not doing any postback.

Data is changing while refreshing or clicking this link. i don't want to change the data once the page is loaded. it should change only next time open the website.

It looks like you are not clear with the web concepts. Web is stateless. So each time a page is requested, it has to load completely. You can use caching to persist the data which you don't want to load often.

im not sure if i got what u mean but perhaps you should move the databind function to a diffrent event ? not the Page_Load event ?
