Hi
I have a stored procedure that returns all the docs uploaded ordered by creation date. Now i want to change it like show a document with the id "1234" as always on top and the remaining results as today after to that document.
Does anyone have any one idea.
Any Help please......!

What springs to mind....
The first thing I would look at is returning two result sets (presumably your first would have one row in it and your second would have many, excluding the unique row you've already selected, ordered by create date) from your store proc. Then using a ADO.Net DataReader I would merge the two result sets in code.
Here's some pseudo with some c#
using ( SqlDataReader reader = command.ExecuteReader( ) )
{
if ( reader.Read( ) )
{
}
reader.NextResult();
while ( reader.Read( ) )
{
}
}
This is still only one stored proc call; one trip across the wire (not that two trips in this case would make the slightest bit of difference).

Good Day All
Am using a Infragistic Ultragrid Control and in the Control there is no event RowDataBound, So i decided to add it. I right Clicked on the Control and went to Properties and clicked at the lightning sign for events and double clicked "DataBound" event and next to it i started coding my event like this

The Compiler did not complain. Now i want to use this event in the like in MS Gridview. How do i get that event to be Fired ?

Am using a third party Grid Control by "Infragistics". So i want to use the event like i use the Microsoft's Gridview that we normally use in VS.

Try to create a new page and add that code.
Redirect to that page, from a link that contains TARGET="_blank", or use javascript, window.open()to show that page.

You have to either have Excel installed on the server, or a free package Microsoft has that let's a server access the DLLs required. Can't remember what it's called, but it should give ya some Google key words.

Ok. Instead of saving the bitmap into a file, save it to a memory stream and get the bytes from it to save to database. You need to use the other overload of Save which takes a Stream. GetBuffer[^] method will give you the byte array which can be saved to database then.

I have an UpdatePanel in a UserControl that there is a button on it.
By clicking the button I want to add a control (textBox) dynamically to my WebForm.
but it doesn't work.
If I remove the UpdatePanel that works, but with UpdatePanel Not.
What can I do?

in the update panel there is a tag for postback,give the button id in that postback.
