Chris cleared up the initial confusion and you are right, in one of my more famous  moments, I changed the status of my own account.
However, I've tried several times to change it back to a private account, but its not working. Also, it seems that my CP history has been lost :sniff:

When I checked all the history was on the group account, so no worries about it - it's all there.
The group you created seems very popular, and there are applications in it already. This is the reason you can not change it back to your private account.
We will think on how to resolve the issue.

Ink the best thing for us to do is allow group accounts to be changed back if there are no accepted applications.

That takes me back to my settings page of the altered profile. Unless you're saying that it itself is an applicant?

It looks like you went to your settings page and changed your account from "Standard Member Account" to a group-type account. All this did was flip a bit on your account - nothing else was changed. You can log on, post messages - do whatever - with the account still. The only difference is that you can now allow others to join with your account, and you can set the level of authority on those who join.
If you wish to create a completely new group account, separate from your current account, then go to the Groups tab in your settings page and you'll see some text boxes that will allow you to do this right then and there.

I've done surgery on your accounts. Log out of this one and log in to your old account. I've set you as Admin of your new group account.
All should be good again.

Only 1 that I know of. Your old one was converted to and from a group account, and your new account was a standard account that has been converted to a group account.
So you have 2 accounts, 1 group, 1 normal.
Unless there are some more hiding out somewhere...

First of all this is a great features . But I have few suggestion on that , and believe you should think on it.
If you check my article Exploring Session in ASP.Net [^] , its showing Version 20 and the Publish date is 15th Jan 2009 . The reasons is that I have update this number of times during publish the article, because there are more than 40 images and I have faced lots difficulties during publish . But Date of Publish and Date of Update are Same.
So, It would be great if you make the version on each update after 7 day , The same logic that you are using during article update .
This is just my suggestion only, and I believe this would be great to create version when an article has mark as update (not before 7 days ).

If we only showed some of the versions then that would defeat the purpose. The purpose I initially added it for was to handle the issue with collaborative editing, and with editing by our editors. If an article is broken then we want to be able to pinpoint what happemed, by whom, and then rollback to the previous best, not the best give or take 7 days.
We will add paging to the list, though.

Hmmmm. So if an article has only one author, what's the point of showing the version number? As it is right now, all of my articles show "Version: 1" in the header, which is confusing because I have been doing versioning all along, and so the article body says something like "Version 1.3 - 2008 January 19".
I think you should either 1) allow authors to specify starting version number; or 2) don't display version in header for single-author articles.

That would be a classic > 0 / > 1 bug.
I used to have the initial version set as 0, then thought 'that's dumb' so made it 1. But I forgot to update the code.
Fixed in next release (tomorrow or the next day or this coming weekend. Depending on how other items in the pipeline are coming)

Hi there,
Sounds strange I know. But after after years ( my sixth ) and severals version of .net I've got a lot of bookmarks. I decided to start over from scratch and would like to delete all of my bookmarks. Now this looks like a never ending story and pane in the arse to delete each and every bookmark by its Delete link.
Do I miss something or do I just miss a "Clear all" function?
