Fair enough. The problem is that it's a pretty big app, so whatever part of the code is doing it, I'm probably not aware of it off-hand to tell you about. The app itself is just a document editor--nothing that should be doing funny-business in theory.

I do indeed do some cleanup on exit, including deleting temp files that may not have been deleted already. But as far as I can see my app doesn't need admin to access these files--wouldn't that make a difference?

Also, should I read anything into the fact that Vista only displays this message once in a while on exit? (Obviously if it displayed it every time, I'd discover the cause by commenting out code until the problem went away.)
