You know the Pending Checkin window in Visual Studio? You know how it has a tree view but each node is a checkbox? Is there a built-in WinForms control that does this? I need one that I can populate with nodes and children at run time and has functionality like if a child is checked, the parent is checked. Anybody got any ideas?

You didn't say what the problem is so few ways to start with:
- public/internal static or singleton class
- resource file etc

But if you simply create one static class, as I suggested, in your application and store the connection string etc. in that class, you can use it where you want.
If that doesn't help you forward, I think you should describe the problem you're facing in implementation.

Now i am going to develope new window based .net C#application but it will be supprot in two languages English and arabic how to maintain the language in all the forms

Hi All,
I am using VS05 + Windows Forms + CrystalReport .I want to display coloured alternating rows in a report.
For that i have use below procedure
Right Click Details Section -> Chose Colour tab -> Use formula ie. if RecordNumber mod 2 = 0 then red else blue
This will give me a result but the total detail section is get coloured.
I just want to give colour to detail section which contains field from database and not the whole detail
section.
How can i do this?

AFAIK this cannot be done directly to details section. One way to achieve this is to add a formula field to the report (no text) and make that as wide as the report. Then send it to back and use your formula on that field. This should get an alternating back color.

I would like to know how to change localization in VS2008 setup project dynamically. Scenario is like if operating system's langauge is french and user clicks on setup.exe, all screens should come in french and same for English langauge.
I have created Setup project by keeping Localization property to English. It shows me all screens in English. Now If I changed Localization property to French, it shows me all screens in French. But I want it dynamically and it should consider machine langauge and display accordigly.

You can set this properties at runtime too. All controls have properties called Anchor and Dock
