Right click the solution, Add-->Existing Project...
You may like to explore Visual Studio and see what options are available and what is in each of the menus.

Hi All,
I had created one virtual folder inside of client web site not in default website in IIS named fileimageserver and pointed the location as in c:/Images this is in client server. Through coding Inside that fileimageserver folder i'm creating new folders according to client name and then storing logos with in that location..for this i declared the image paths in my web.config
like for creating folders :
<add key="ImgPaht" value="172.16.2.200/fileimageserver/">
for viewing the imges
<add key="viewImgPaht" value="http://172.16.2.200:8080/fileimageserver/">
in coding i'm checking if the image exist then deleting the image and then creating again and storing the image then displaying the url to the image..
while doing this i'm getting error like "The network path was not found"..
how can i solve this problem....
i checked already exiting images through the url http://172.16.2.200:8080/fileimageserver/clinentnamefolder/clientname.img, i can see those images...but while updating i need to delete existing image and then i need store new image..

hi
a project i'm going to undertake will require a user system which generates a virtual subdomain for users who register with my site.
For example the user john signs up and is given a subdomain to access his account, john.website.com, which when rendered in the browser will automatically bring up http://website.com/profile.php?username=john or similar.
How can this be acheived? I know it can be done with ISAPI_REWRITE I want to use my code for it.
I work ASP.NET.

hi
i find a way to do it.
1. DNS must be configured.
like *.example.com IN A 10.10.10.10(the site's IP)
2.IIS must be configured such every request to example.com by every subdomain go through ASP ISAPI
3.A HttpModule must be created to handle those request and convert it to actual address.
LIKE subdomain.example.com ----> www.example.com/query?id=subdoamin.

If you are using asp.net text box, it is impossible. Try some HTML editor like FCK editor

quite difficult seems to be impossible
take a label instead of textbox ..
use span to change the color or bold it

I'm trying to figure out how to drop/discard a request (in the BeginRequest event handler in an HttpModule), any idea how I can do this? Calling Response.End() sends the output to the user which is not what I want. Response.Close() closes the socket but as far I know (and correct me if I'm wrong) it also sends a packet to the client to notify them that the connection was closed. I'm trying to implement a black list of IPs in my app, I just want to drop/ignore/discard the request as if it was never received by the application.

Wow, ISAPI filter to do such simple task! Isn't there a simpler way? I'm going to use IIS7 for my app, can this make it easier to do without having to use an ISAPI filter?

Hi all,
i have created a web application with three classes in it App_Code folder.When i run the pjt in local system everything was working.but after hosting the site it give erroe "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." where it encounter a line having a call to the functions in the class
Suppose A is my class in App_Code
I have declared the objt of it in a .aspx page as
A objA=new A();
objA.Function();
What is wrong with this.I got a solution saying thatfor that "U have to include namespace of APP_code Class File into ur webpage .cs file".How can i do it?

Are you using any name space in Class files ?
Are you getting exception while creating a new object i.e
A objA=new A();
OR on Method call
objA.Function();
?

Hi,
If your Class file in App_code contains namespace you have to import it in your .cs file. If your code behind is vb then use "import" or c# means use "using" to import your namespace.

this session "x",i want to use in many pages.

Yes, You can it same way. At once you set the value in session you can access it any page, if session is not expired.
Get session value:
if( Session["x"] != null )
String txtValue=Convert.ToString(Session["x"]);
