Has been a while since i have had any problems and with what i'm doing but today i'm stumped. I pretty much finished al lthe pages I needed and a lot of them are pages that once loaded will display an image usuall a line diagram that is created in the code file. I've been slowly sorting out the navigation and I was looking into using a master page to stay the same on all the pages with then the content changing when the user selcects an option.
I can get the master page set up and the layout I want but when i go to display one of this diagrams that I have created in another page it appears and the layout of the master page has gone. Is there anyway that I can get around this.
Any help is always appreciated.

Are these diagrams created in the class behind file for the content pages?
So basically when one of these diagrams loads you lose all the masterpage layout? or it appears wrong?
Can you provide a bit more detail about how these diaggrams are created?

That is indeed correct, sorry for the lack of clarity. The diagrams are all created using the Graphics and Bitmap objects respectivly in the class behind file for the content pages.
Draws all the lines using the Graphics object and then:
bmp.Save(Response.OutputStream, ImageFormat.Jpeg);

Yeah the master page layout goes and it just shows the diagram.

I think that what you are doing here is changing the response to just show the created bitmap and clearing any other html. If you view the source of your page what do you see?

I thought this might be the case but can't find another way to get the image to display. The source for this is as follows:

Have you considered having your line diagram page in an iframe?

No to be honest I had no idea what an iframe was, but just googled it and it looks like it could be possible so I'm now going to try uto use that and see what the outcome is. Thank you for the suggestion.

Is it possible to export or save the chart created using Office Web Component(OWC) class ‘ChartSpace’ to excel format or excel file.

in iframe it is showing the whole page if i click on seeds obviously it will show.but i want if i will click on seeds then the first row with rowid seeds should only shown not the other rows are shown.likewise if will click on
another leaves link then leaves only leaves row of html page should shown not the other row of NutritionsDetails.htm should.
so please help me it Urgent!

Hi all,
I want to generate and display chart and display it over web page. I have checked few options such as Google chart, ZedGraph and office excel component. I am looking for some open source instead of any proprietary library. I found office excel library a better option to proceed. Now in that again I got confused with different types of available libraries such as Office Web Component (OWC) and Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.
Please someone tell me which is the better way to generate chart in ASP.Net. Also I need an option to export generated chart to excel. Note, I don’t want to export image generated.

Hi
I have created an ActiveX Object in VB6-->published it in to an OCX file.
Now want to use it in an ASP page such that the ActiveX file gets auto registered in the client side. Please guide me how to create MSI file and make this possible. Also please let me know if there are any free tools available.

i mean in grid view row databound iam adding an attribute to get javascript fired when that link button is clicked.for this javascript function iam sending the string that contains the javascript.then only iam getting this error stating unterminated string constant error it is coming .

Check for apostrophes inside the HTML in your code.
i hope this is your problem. becoz i dont have your code to see otherwise we can easily find out what is the problem?

Hi,
We had written a code in ASP in which we are doing HTTP POST using an HTTP URL. This was done locally. We were sending some credit card deatils.
When we deployed the code on server, we tried using HTTP POST using HTTPS URL. There is already a certificate issued for this.
The HTTTP POST using https is not working. I want to know if it is a certificate issue or do i have to do some changes in the code if i try to use HTTP POST on HTTPS URL?
The HTTP POST code is as follows:
Set objHTTP = Server.CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP")
objHTTP.Open "POST", strURL, False
