Can you increase the number of upload entries in the ASW from its current to 20 or 30? I have 67 files in my latest article. Going back 7 times and clearing all the entries (since there's no Reset button for updates) is really painful.

I've got a todo item to make the list expandable - 20 seems reasonable though there will be problems due to the maximum upload size being more easily reached meaning more chance of the whole lot being rejected by the server.
The other TODO we have is to ajaxify the entire upload thing which may also help.

I would suggest a Flash Uploader like in MediaFire. You can allow the users to queue the article contents but the uploader would enqueue the contents to the server besides showing a progress of upload gracefully.

The popup tha is whown on the new post page when the preview button is clicked should be wider, at least 800px
When code is posted one usually has to esize that window to see it correctly

In our profiles page, can we please see the total number of posts per forum. I'm almost up to 6,000 and would like to see where I've spent the most time (Lounge vs. Soapbox). Many merci's Maunder.

Why would it? Don't you already get most of the info for the page? You'd just be getting the count per forum. Also, how often do people go to their messages page? I don't usually check it more than once a day. Also, you could just do it for the first page and use the cache for all the other message pages they see.

If you are concerned about load on the servers, how about on-demand display? May be I can only see my own statistics? Or whatever.

I submitted an update to this article, including a new zip file, a new screen shot, and new article text. The only thing that appears to be showing correctly is the screen shot.

According to everything I saw on the screen during the update process, everything went okay. Then I came back to it a couple of hours later. I've tried in both IE and FireFox, and cleared the caches in both browsers before posting this message.

Can you retry? I just modified your article and checked and it's all good from where I can see it.
We did have a bug but that was fixed Saturday night. If you can reproduce this bug (from a fresh load of the article editor) then let me know ASAP.

I just cleared the cache again, and went back to the page. The article text does not reflect the changes I submitted. Under "History", there should be an entry for 10/14/2008, but it's not there in my browser. Do you see it?

It would be better if we had an API in the form of a web service or something like that. I suggested that Chris come up with an assembly (sufficiently obfuscated of course) that we could use to access an article database, but I don't think he's having any of it. Then, the articles would be about the app using the assembly than the part that parses the scraped web page (and we'd be able to concentrate on the UI instead of the core code).

The clamour for an API is loud and clear and yes, I'll provide one. The only issue is hours in the day - we are stretched incredibly thin at the moment and are trying to work on "Must Fix Now Or Life As We Know It Will End" bugs before we tackle "Now that *would* be nice" features.
