I have to show the grid view header in the left side of the control instead of on the top.

you can use Table which having Two Column, First For Header and second one will holde your grid .

Currently i m using asp.net with c# (framework 2.0).
in my page i have a datagrid with many dropdownbox. when user select a drop down value it goes to the first line and user again want to scroll down each time (here autopostback=true). HOW TO FREEZE THE SCROLLER..

In the "<%@ Page >" tag of your page put the tag MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback="true".
That will let the page return to its original scroll position after a postback.

thanks for ur reply bcozian. but the coding which u mentioned is just controlling the page scroll. i need to control a particular gridview dropdownbox's which is placed inside a table. please go through my post exactly.

what does it mean ? just your are getting a Exception. Be specific while post some question. where did get this exception, where are the Line of code.

What you can do is identify all the seats uniquely and then you can have two type of status for a particular seat i.e. booked or vacant.
When a user is marking a seat as booked then change the status to booked from vacant.

The only problem you will encounter is cinemas with differnet amount of seating. You would need to find out the specs for the cinemas before you could build the seating booking phase.

did you validate the IIS Settings for the same? Check ASP.NET Version and Security Settings
for your virtual directory.
