Hi,
I need to collect the images from an RTF file as image objects that I can work on individually. Any ideas?
I tried loading the RTF file in the RTFTextBox in WinForms. The images show up correctly, but I still haven't figured out a way of accessing them directly.
Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Hi Giorgi,
Yes - that's the problem! I've found plenty of examples describing how to insert images into RTF but none on how to do the opposite! Am surprized no one else has had the need for this..

The RTF specification is available here[^] if that's any help. I think you're gonna have to parse the rtf and reconstruct the image from the data that's embedded.

Thanks to everyone for your ideas! I managed to get the images. Here's how:
Images in RTF are as hexadecimal strings (as noted from the specifications). So all that needed to be done was:
1. Convert the hexadecimal to a byte array:

2. Then make an image out of this array:
byte[] bData; // The byte array
MemoryStream memStream = new MemoryStream(bData, 0, bData.Length);
Image iMage = Image.FromStream(memStream);
Et voila!

The short answer is that it's not possible. There are very few legitimate reasons for creating an application that exhibits this type of behavior under any circumstance.

Hi,
I have created a simple C# application that has a Windows form. The form contains a richtextbox and a button. I want that at run time, when I type something in the text box and click after that on the button, another form should pops up. Is it possible??
If yes, then any assistance would be appreciated. I have also added another form but dnt know how to add it in the button_click().Please let me know if you need further info.

First you should create new instance of another form. Then show it by calling either Show() or ShowDialog()

Hi,
I am now able to invoke second form through the first form. However, there is a small issue. As per the application, I have to close form2 and click the button to show the form 2. I have to do this thrice
It happens twice successfully but for the third time, when I click the button, multiple form2 shows up and fills the desktop screen. how do I fix this?

Hello
1) ComboBox is Visible False
2) When User Click on TextBox, i am Changing the Visible State of Combo to True
3) Now I am trying to Set Focus on Combo Box But It will not doing so.
